I’m working on some random stuff and curious how difficult it would be to do the following couple of things as an example from a custom DAC/Graph. I know I could just create inventory batches and post them or AR Invoice Batch, but is there a way to do it without all that overhead? Post an Inventory Transaction, but be able to control/set the COGS side of the transaction Post a Non Inventory Transaction and control both sides of the GL Entries Create an AR Invoice and post it, possibly overriding some of the accounting but having it calculate taxes and run normal invoice emailing and all that logic. What would be the best way to go about doing those three things from a custom set of tables?
Various standard screens (Notification Templates for example) on the copy icon have an “Export as XML” and “Import from XML” option on them. I have a custom maintenance form with table/DAC/Graph. The copy/paste/save as template are all there and work great. How do you get the Export and XML and Import From XML to show up and work?
We have a project that will require some UI capabilities that just don’t appear to be possible with the current Acumatica toolset. I know I could do what I need with some telerik or other third party html5 controls or even asp.net controls. Is there any way to incorporate those into an Acumatica screen and use javascript or even the code behind to push/pull data into and out of the controls?
Not going into a long discussion of what I’m doing - but basically I need to add something similar to Notification Templates where user can specify text with the ((Fieldname)) syntax off a graph in a PXRichTextEdit box.I’ve got the code working that if I manually type in the syntax, I can do the replacements and it’s all great. However, I can’t get the Insert\Datafield option to show the values from the graph. <px:PXRichTextEdit AllowInsertPrevParameter="False" AllowInsertParameter="True" AllowLoadTemplate="False" AllowSourceMode="True" AllowSearch="True" AllowPlaceholders="True" AllowMacros="True" AllowAttached="True" textmode="MultiLine" Height="100" Width="100%" runat="server" ID="edHeader" DataField="Header" Style="border-width: 0px; border-top-width: 1px; width: 100%;"> <AutoSize Enabled="True" MinHeight="216" ></AutoSize> <InsertDatafield TextField="Header" ValueField="Path" DataSourceID="ds" ImageField="Icon" DataMember="EntityItem
Long story short - I have a form that has a parent record and on a tab a child grid. In that grid is a “notes” type field that I want to be able to edit with the HTML Editor.Example of this would be like the Activities tab on the cases where the notes show under the child grid. The issue is that I really need it to be ENABLED right on the form.I could put the grid into “form editing” mode and have it there, but then navigating between the records becomes a pain as the flow of what I am working on users need to be able to click through and review the child records and edit the notes quickly and going in and out of form editing mode of the child grid isn’t very user-friendly.
I have a custom screen that has a parent/child standard editing form similar to sales orders in how it looks.Under the child grid or above it, I'd like to put a control that is bound to the same table/field as the child grid.It works to show the initial record's value from the child grid, but as I select different rows in the child grid it doesn't refresh with the proper values. It always shows/edits the first value from the grid. Is there any way to get the control to show the right value from the grid and work like this?I realize I can put in the edit mode for the grid, but for ease of use this one field (multi-line HTML Editor) really needs to just allow the user to click on the row and edit the value easily. Edit: Sorry this somehow posted to distribution. Should have been in Customizations but I can’t figure out how to move it!
