Hello,When Exchange Configuration is set up there will be an option to checkmark email accounts to Activate Email Synchronization for specific Email Accounts.(image of Email Accounts configured to synchronize emails via Exchange) Once these have been activated like shown in the image above, the System Email Account screen will then contain those specific ‘Exchange’ email accounts as records(Image of ‘Exchange’ System Email Account records) Once an Exchange email account record is selected, the tab titled ‘Incoming Email Processing’ has rules that can be configured. These rules are available for Exchange accounts which sync email in Acumatica.Clicking “Incoming Email Processing” check-box will turn on the ability to check-mark “Create New Case”. Once activated, all new emails that this Exchange Email Account receives should create a new case inside Acumatica. Here is also a help article that goes over Incoming Email Processing rules. https://help-2022r2.acumatica.com/Help?ScreenId=Show
Hello,System email accounts within Acumatica have an option to have a “Default Owner” set.I see there is a “from” account specified in the Notification Template in the image provided on this post. Please try adding the Global Admin user as the “Default Email Owner” on the “Assignment Settings” tab for that System Email Account. If that does not help to resolve feel free to create a support case and I would be more than happy to assist with this issue further!
This sounds like it would be a great feature, at this time however this may be accomplished through customization or perhaps a solution available in the Acumatica Marketplace could help as well. Definitely check out https://www.acumatica.com/acumatica-marketplace when you get a chance!
Hello, There is an option listed in the following FAQ that could help, but may not work for all email configurations so please keep this in mind. Emails being “read” occurs when using IMAP config - this is specified in help and is expected. https://help-2021r2.acumatica.com/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=703c2d6e-5e43-4122-896b-160f2c9d4aaf Hopefully using draft as specified in the FAQ above will help your use case, otherwise I recommend setting up custom root folders and only syncing the email you want to sync and are OK with being read by Acumatica.
Hello Tony,Invoice > Print > Send uses the Report Configuration (so the notification needs to be configured inside the report by using report designer. When using Actions > Send Email (such as on a PO or SO record - without printing), this uses the Customer/Vendor mailing settings, and the notification template configured for that.We have quite a few really great KB articles that goes over this. This KB goes over process as a whole: This KB goes over how to configure this in Report Designer (Report > Print > Send): This KB goes over how to configure this using Mailing Settings (Actions > Send Email):

Hello, 2021 R1 has a new feature available within Generic Inquiries to not include File Attachments on a GI entirely - this will result in no users being able to attach files when reviewing GI. More information on this new feature can be found here: https://help-2021r1.acumatica.com/(W(1))/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=aadb9682-5e09-487c-8161-428c9d9a6978 Below are images of a custom copy of the Sales Order list and Appointment list, where “Not Applicable” has been selected for Note attachment configuration. This can also be done with a copy of the Appointment list as well. Please be sure to make copies of these native GI’s in order to configure for business needs, is not recommended to make these configurations on the native lists (any list that ends in PL such as SO3010PL and FS3002PL are native lists and should not be modified) Configuration for SO: Configuration for Appointment: Results:
Have seen the ‘Authentication Unsuccessful’ error before when testing system email accounts. An item to check is if the password is correct. When an email password is updated outside of Acumatica, the new password needs to be inserted into the system email account manually within Acumatica.
As a note, my Gmail account will also fail if I have the option unchecked for “My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication” on the advanced settings tab (image 1). When I checkmark this option, my Gmail account no longer shows mail send errors and is successful during testing. That is the only visual difference I can see between my working Gmail account and your non working account. Also Gmail regularly checks and turns off the “Allow Less Secure Apps” option in their security settings now, might be a good idea to also double check that as well.
