@hkabiri Thank you, I figured it may be related to some new features and need to be enabled for it to work. Thank you.
@Joeldk96 There is a product called Rockton Pricing Management that allows you to do this easily and there are multiple ways you can set up pricing. If your pricing is based on cost, if there is anything on the record that identifies the item that could be used on a filter, then you wouldn’t have to setup a sales pricing worksheet every time, when you add that field, it would be based on the identifying field (i.e. item class). If interested, you can find more information in the Acumatica Marketplace.
@byates If you need to capture multiple discounts or adjustments, there is a product called Rockton Pricing Management that allows you to do this. In addition to tracking multiple discounts and adjustments, it allows you to post each to a specific GL account which can be displayed on the transaction in Acumatica. These discounts could also be added to the invoice report. If interested, you can find more information in the Acumatica Marketplace.
@rosenjon Hello, I know the information provided here is a workaround to accomplish what you needed, but there is also a product called Rockton Pricing Management, with this feature already built in. RPM allows for quantity breaks by utilizing a filter. (i.e. filter on item class) as well as many other pricing features. If interested, you can find more information in the Acumatica Marketplace. Take care!
@sdas09 Thank you for responding. You are correct, if I reply to an email, the Save and Discard button does appear on the new email you are replying too. However once you reply, the old email is on the screen in a duplicate tab now and there there used to be a button there to go back. Even if you just opened the email without hitting reply. My end users would use this button to go back to all emails. Now the email opens in a duplicate tab and you have to close the duplicate tab and then move to the previous all emails tab and refresh. It did not used to work like that. My users immediately noticed the difference because they spend all day in the email area going through the inbox responding and reviewing emails coming into the sales and support email queues. Now they have a bunch of duplicate tabs open for each email they open up and no back button on the first email to close it.
We recently upgraded from 2021 R2 to 2022 R2 and have noticed the time in Acumatica is using also displaying incorrect. It is ignoring the time set in the user profile as well as the employee record. I did submit a support case to Acumatica. It was correct in the previous version. In the example below, the time on my computer is central time 8:08 am, and the user profile is central as well as the employee calendar. But the time in Acumatica is mountain time at 7:08 am.I did enter a support case with Acumatica.
Why doesn’t the sales demo data download have CRM functionality enabled? I don’t see Opportunities or Support and cannot enable it. If I want a demo environment with CRM and Distribution, which snapshot should I use?
@dcomerfordI don’t believe core Acumatica can do this type of discount calculation. There are some great additional products that do have this type of functionality, like Rockton Pricing Management which could possibly do this if the payment term is listed on the line, they could have a calculation for the discount and a filter could be used to specify the discount. If interested, you can check out the short video in the Acumatica Marketplace. You can also reach out to them to discuss your specific scenarios.
@ChandraM Thank you I will take a look.
In case the pricing in Acumatica cannot work the way you need it to, there are some great additional pricing products that may be able to help with this functionality. Rockton Pricing Management could possibly do this, allowing pricing to be driven by more than one line. With RPM, pricing could be driven from multiple lines on the document, rather than just the current line, but the order of the line items are important when being entered on the document. If interested, you can check out the short video in the Acumatica Marketplace. This video may not show the discounts using multiple lines, but it gives you an idea about what the product can do. You can also reach out to them to discuss your specific scenarios to see if this product would work for your needs before diving into a customization.
Thank you, the detach employee menu option is what I was missing. After I did that, I had to remove the old userid, she had not done anything really in the system so I removed her from company tree workgroups and then deleted her user id.I then was able to recreate the user id and use active directory to find her new email and link it to her employee record. Thank you!
