Shopify Customer Locations Acting Weird

I got a couple issues with the Shopify Connector, specifically the customer location sync.

At random it will create more than one location for the customer in Acumatica.  It will activate one and deactivate the other.

Since upgrading to 2025R2 we have every day one or two orders where it will fail to import due to "property set method not found". What we found is that it means that the location is not active. When you go to it in Acumatica, you cannot activate it either. You need to create an additional location, make that the default, then you can go back to the other location and activate it.

In addition I found today that when I look at audit history for any customer, it will show me a bunch of location changes for different customers, different random locations. I don't know what these mean and why they're showing up on another customer that's not even connected to our Shopify store.

Already did one last week. We didn’t hear back yet.

I’ve been seeing an issue where the default location will be forced to “inactive” and there is no way to update the status as it’s the default location. If there is no secondary location you have to create a new location temporarily, set that location as the default, and the change the status of the MAIN location back to active, then delete the secondary location. All because the status field is locked on the default location.

I don’t think the default location should ever have the status updated in my opinion.

Anyways, I have not seen this location creation issue yet.

I hope it’s not too much to ask, but would you update us all here if you get to a resolution?

@Jeff96 , @bwhite49 , looking at the Audit History in Jeff’s screenshot above, I’m confused as to why gid://shopify/MAILINGaddress is used… In my opinion, it should be gid://shopify/Location - that’s an entity in Shopify API that defines the customer location, and then it has connections to billingAddress and shippingAddress…

Maybe, it’s just some old API version…

Anyhow, I’m really curious to learn what Acumatica’s response is on this issue.
