We have a situation where we have companies created in Acumatica from Shopify then when the customers associated with those companies get created in Acumatica, they are not linked what so ever.

For Shopify B2b capabilities how is AR to be handled when it should be at the company level and not the customer level in Acumatica?  Terms orders

@nshah90 , I think to continue a meaningful conversation, we need to see the screenshots of everything: customers, companies, orders, sync history, etc. Otherwise, it’s going to be difficult to address :)

@nshah90 , those customers can be created as individual customers, not associated with a company and will be used if they place PERSONAL orders. However, if you go into a customer that represents a business, you should see the same ‘customer’ as a contact of that company in Acumatica. If that person uses the B2B login in Shopify and places an order under a company location, that order will come under the company account, not the individual account. Let us know if you’re seeing anything different.

Thank!

that’s the thing. I tested creating a Shopify order from the company page and selected a customer under the company > created a terms order > order created under customer and no reference of company so AR would go under customer in this case.

@nshah90 , can you see both customer and company synced in the Sync History screen?

I didn’t do it :) However, I don’t know if we will get to the solution here, since the OP doesn’t share necessary information publicly.

@kkeating24 and @Yuri Karpenko my apologies.  I read up on the native connector functionality when it comes to sync in Companies and how sales orders get created for the “shopify customers”.  The idea is that company needs to get sync first then the customers who places the order through shopify gets related to the company so the order instead Acumatica gets created for the “Company” (Customer Organization) inside Acumatica so the AR rolls up to the Company Organization.

Thank you both for your help.

@nshah90 , it depends on how the order is placed in Shopify. If you have a customer in Shopify, and they are assigned to a company, that customer can potentially place orders in 2 different ways: as a company member or as an individual. In these 2 cases, orders should come into Acumatica differently. The first - under Company customer (with an associated Contact), the second - under individual Customer (not associated with a Company).
