We have the Retail Commerce Edition. Does the Retail Commerce Edition contain all of the features of the Distribution Edition? If not, what general feature of the Distribution Edition are not contained in the Retail Commerce Edition?

The Retail Commerce edition is simply the Distribution Edition plus the 1st commerce connector. You can add additional connectors if needed.

Please find the below screenshot for reference. The Entity column shows the syncs that supported through commerce edition (the below screenshot shows BigCommerce Connector related entities sync) and the Sync Direction column shows the ways as how can a sync can be setup to transfer data between systems. Hope this helps.
