@Mahdi Hello, as far as I know, if you want to align the columns,
you have to make their position the same in the report designer.

The cells starts with the same location position would export into a same column.

Hi, @Mahdi

Report Designer has by default Excel mode setup in Auto and should export to excel how it looks on the screen. This brings the export with lots of merging, word wrapping and unnecessary extras users don’t like when they have to manipulate data afterwards.

The report can be changed to Excel mode Manual and that is then where you tell exactly where you want it and what you want on your export.

With that said, it takes a bit of practice and trial an error to figure out that:

Page Headers on your report that you as column titles and across- make sure to position them on the same row, different columns. Usually Row 1 when it’s a single row title

Detail Section, you start again in Row 1 (yes, row 1) and different columns.

When you don’t want fields to export- make them False in Excel Visible. After a bit of work and practice, you’ll end up with exports to excel that actually make sense and users don’t have to suffer thru modifying much.

something like this:

Hope it helps and it’s not too late :)
