Pivot table not showing the text values for "Inventory ID" or "Transaction Description".

While trying to get the Inventory ID and transaction description on the pivot table, we noticed that when the fields are added to the Values section, they are displayed as numbers in the pivot table.

The fields work fine in the other sections of the table except for that particular one. Any thoughts?

The InventoryID value is a number. It’s generally translated in the UI to the InventoryCD value for better reading. I guess that when it comes to Pivot Tables it’s taking the original numerical value.

Try joining your current GI with InventoryItem using the InventoryID field. And then use the InventoryItem.InventoryCD field for the results grid.

The values section is an aggregate / summary - I would guess that the pivot table is ‘counting’ the available records and displaying a number.

The “Properties” box (example below) should give you a hint about how the number is calculating.
