Hi community members! I am looking to build a GI that lists all Vendors and the Date the Last PO was placed with them. It would be nice if the last PO number also was returned. 

I have left joined the Vendors to the PO’s and have the dates and fields mentioned above but, of course, the vendor repeats with each different date. I tried to use a Max formula on the PODate field to get the most recent but, no luck. I also tried grouping but the date returned is not always the Last PO Date in the system. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

My example shows latest AP Document (not latest PO):

I think you want to Group by Vendor ID, Sort by Vendor ID ascending then PO Date descending, and use Aggregate Function = Max.

I hope this helps you. If not, please you show the details of your grouping, sort order, results grid, and (incorrect) results.
