We are creating a GI that shows the information found in the Item Warehouse Details line by line for each item. The Inventory items appear to be showing multiple times for the same branch, as the last count date is pulling every time it was included in a count.

We only want the items to show once per warehouse with the most recent count date.

Hi @omeek47 ,

If you attach your GI, we may be able to provide more specific guidance.

In general terms:

On fields on the Grouping tab of your Generic Inquiry, for example the InventoryID and SiteID.  This groups the results on the names fields so that you have just one record per group.

For fields that are different across the records, specify an Aggregate function such as Max on the Results grid for the column.  If you don’t see the Aggregate column, you may need to add it with the column selector.  Keep in mind that each column is aggregated separately, so for example if you select the maximum quantity it will be just that - the maximum quantity - not the quantity as of the last count date.

Hope this helps!

@omeek47

You could add a condition into your generic inquiry, something like CountDate Is Between @MonthStart-1 @MonthEnd-1 if you do a monthly stock count.
