I am trying to find out how to provide specific rights to user roles to allow them to create drilldowns just for their account. How can I do this?

@vmaria I don’t think you’ll be able to do this using access rights, this will require Restriction Groups from what it sounds like. Restricting access to specific accounts, subaccounts and possibly branch combinations as well. Have you already tried this?

Hi @vmaria,

To allow users to create drilldowns only for their own account, you need to handle the following:

• To create drilldowns – grant Delete rights on Generic Inquiries.

• To control which screens users can drill into – use Access Rights by Role. Go to Site Map, locate the target screen, and remove its Workspace assignment. Then grant View rights to the required role. This allows users to access the screen through drilldowns while keeping it hidden from the main navigation menu.

• To restrict which accounts/subaccounts/branches they see – use Restriction Groups, since Access Rights alone do not control data at the record level.

Hope this helps.
