An employee has a checking and savings account that is split with a regular paycheck. He received a bonus and wants the full amount to go into his checking account only. Is this possible without changing the payroll settings?

@dmccaughan looking at the paychecks and adjustments screen, i am not seeing any way to update the banking information or on the payment batches screen.  i think the cleanest way would be to update the payroll settings.  however, i do think this could be a good idea to post in the idea forum, i think a simple way to do it would be to add an active checkbox on the direct deposit tab of the employee payroll settings. 


Yes, I researched before I reached out. I was able to export all the direct deposit data to an excel spreadsheet, delete all nonvalid accounts, and leave only the account for the special payout. Then, I had to reenter the accounts. This is very inconvenient. We allow up to 10 direct deposit accounts and most of our employees have separate accounts for their children. This employee had 5 accounts.  I posted the idea at your suggestion. Thank you.
