Payroll Quick Pay

Has anyone setup Quick pay in Payroll.  I see options to set that up for salaried employees, but don’t see any place to configure it.

@teri20 Are you referring to Quick Checks?  That was the term used before 23R1.  Those are called Cash Purchases now

in payroll you have a couple of options:

 

  1. your employees enter time into the system and you use that time to process payroll.
  2. for Salaried employees you can do the quick checks which take the time from the employees Calendar and based on the employees frequency of payment will automatically calculate the checks and create them. you need to check the prepopulate with employee defaults checkbox as shown below
  3. you can enter the time manually or import from an excel spreadsheet
