Error when collecting strings for translation

Forum|alt.badge.img

I am trying to collect strings for translation. I have created a Translation Set and added some screens which I need to translate. After this, when I click “Collect”, the process shows error after running for some time “Another process has added the 'LocalizationResource' record. Your changes will be lost.

Hi @rajeshmishra90 .This error typically occurs due to concurrency conflicts. In database systems, when two processes try to modify the same record at the same time, the system has to decide which changes to save and which to reject. In your case, it appears that another process has modified the 'LocalizationResource' record while your translation collection process was running.

I’m sorry but this is unacceptable. The translation collection has been broken in what seems like forever. No matter if you run with maintenance mode, try and schedule it to run in the middle of the night or in a tenant you know nobody is using, unbound collection attempts fail more often than not (and collecting Messages has a 100% failure rate). Acumatica needs to fundamentally change how this process works because the reality is that in 99% of cases, two people are not editing the localization resource at the same time.
