Vendor Shipment that shows 0 on Material Move of Production Order

Can you please provide more detail as to what you mean by “OI-WIP”?

OI-WIP = work in process.  Our material gets backflushed from this location.  We transfer the material from a bin location to the OI-WIP for Production Orders.  

Have you performed the move transaction on the operation marked as outside service?  That is when the backflush of materials gets issued to the production order.

yes, we completed 2518 out of 2520.  I just did a “recalculate inventory” and a couple of the On Hold vendor shipments now show completed.  I re-ran Inventory Planning and nothing changed on the Production Order.  I can usually figure out how to fix issues, however this one has me baffled.  Algorithm took a brief look too and suggested I write up a ticket.   See attached screenshots of Production Order/Vdr Shipment/Mat Moves

Did you create a Case with Support?  If so - that is probably the best path forward.

Thanks - I have not - was hoping someone here would be able to help or had similar experiences, as we are on Prem and it’s a little more challenging to get Acumatica assistance.

• Was the material already in OI-WIP when you created the vendor shipment, or did you move it in after?
• When you released the Move Transaction, was the material still sitting in OI-WIP?
• Is Backflush Materials checked on the Ship to Vendor material line in your BOM?
• For the 5 On Hold shipments — was a Move Transaction ever released on the outside operation?

*Material was NOT in OI-WIP when they created vendor shipment, it was moved to OI-WIP before being confirmed.  (I know this is not the correct way and why we probably showed 0 on the material move and not on the vendor shipment - seems like a glitch in Acumatica)

*Yes, the material was still sitting in OI-WIP

*Backflush Materials is NOT checked on the Material line, however once we confirm the Vendor Shipment it normally does not show in our inventory.  

*Once the “service” was received in via Purchase order, the Production Order completed the correct # of the finished good but did not take the material out of Inventory once again.

*The 5 on hold Move transactions were showing at 0 qty on the Production Orders.  I ran Recalculate Inventory and it released a few of them but did NOT put a qty on the Material lines of the Production Orders nor take the material out of OI-WIP.
