generic inquiry to show list of production order with is planned material cost and actual cost

Hello Experts, i was looking to create a GI to show material planned cost and actuaL cost for production order, i was in doubt that the data which i am looking because values may be calculated value, it may not be stored value. can anyone suggest me your opinion for this.

Hi,

Both planned and actual material costs are calculated values. Planned material cost is calculated from BOM quantities and unit costs.

The actual material cost for each operation is equal to a sum of material costs, where each material cost is calculated as the unit cost multiplied by the issued quantity.

I assume you are meaning to make a GI as per below. 

This is possible by using the PX.Objects.AM.AMProdTotal table in relation with PX.Objects.AM.AMProdItem table via the Generic Inquiry (SM208000) screen. You can take a copy of the out of the box Production Order Maintenance GI (AM2015PL) and add the PX.Objects.AM.AMProdTotal to it.

But keep in mind that the Planned Costs and Actual Costs will be updated in the system as the Production Order moves onwards in the Production line.
