After 8 years on Acumatica (company size 80 employees) with 171 User Roles, 53+ AD User Roles of which each user had between 8-24 overlapping roles, I just cleaned up access for our company, and we are down to 32 roles where each person has just:
- 1 role for their dept
- 1 role for Internal User for allowing the user to change personal settings, Help & Activities, File Maintenance etc,
- 1 role for accessing field-Level Audit
This project took about 8 weeks as I was also triaging daily activities, problems and inquires as the companies ERP admin.
