If Vendor Record changes, send email notification with link to Audit History for that Vendor

Hi @sagar07 Here is the solution using Business Events - with an assumption that you are looking the basic audit fields of the Vendors record. This

1. Prepare a Generic Inquiry to show all the fields. Pls find the attached Generic Inquiry which can be imported to your Acumatica instance.
2. Create a Business Event that triggers based on the change of the specific field.

For example: Here is the business event based on the change of the Vendor Terms.

1. Add a email notification as Subscribers for the business event.

Email Template:

Configure the email addresses, body of the email in the email template.

Thanks for the GI and Business Event, but the email isn't getting sent(unable to view it on the All email screen that mail has not been triggered) when any changes are made. We need to notify the user that a Vendor Record has been altered and include a link to the Vendor's Audit History.

Hi @sagar07 If you are looking to add the following audit trial fields, you can add it directly from the Vendors Table by Inserting the fields from the Email Template.

• CreatedDatetime
• CreatedBy - user
• CreatedByScreenID - screen that created the record
• LastModifiedDatetime
• LastModifiedBy - user
• LastModifiedByScreenID - screen that modified the record
