Have you discovered/re-discovered the Pop-Up Note feature?

This simple tool can be a game-changer for communication and compliance for customer accounts, vendor accounts, inventory items, and business accounts; especially when it comes to:

  • Alerting users to important reminders (e.g., billing instructions, project-specific rules)

  • Providing contextual guidance right where it’s needed

  • Flagging exceptions or critical info at the point of data entry

It’s an easy way to boost visibility and reduce errors without relying on emails or extra training.

Want to give it a try?

Check out this step-by-step guide from the JAMIS FAQ/Help:

How to Use Pop-Up Notes in JAMIS Prime

I’d love to hear from you:

  • How are YOU using Pop-Up Notes today?

  • Any creative examples or helpful tips?

  • Have they helped reduce back-and-forth or prevent mistakes?

Let’s crowdsource some best practices! Drop your comments and screenshots below

Yes – I agree that pop-up notes are a great way to communicate information to users.

When I train how to set up vendors, I also train how to create a pop-up note.

Since vendors can have more than one remit to location – a pop-up note is a good way to those folks entering AP Bills know that more than one remit-to location is available to select from.

PAC,

That’s a great tip on how you implemented this feature, thank you!

Not a popup note, but I also use the Notes feature in Generic Inquiries to help me know when an inquiry for a dashboard widget has special quirks (like needing to be updated annually), or in A/P to explain why a bill was entered a certain way.

I wish that pop up notes can be extended to other process window screen. For example, sometimes we need a special reminder on that specific sales order only. So the pop up note will be very helpful

Wow this is a feature I don’t think I've ever seen before, and it looks incredibly useful! I’m going to see if anyone at my company has any uses for this. Thanks for sharing!
