Use PIN and Token to Authenticate Bank Feeds Integration

Our customer banks with CIBC (Canada). We were successful at adding MX and landing on the login screen that asks for card no. and password. There is also a link to the institution’s website. The issue at hand is 1) the customer uses an account no., a personal PIN no., and a token that updates once a minute, and 2) the customer uses a business portal that is different from the mapped institution’s website. What should we do with their setup?

Great question!  With more and more banks requiring MFA, how does Acumatica bank feeds work with that?

Thanks

Hello @ericlee78 ,

Given that Acumatica Bank Feeds works with Plaid / MX as the Data Aggregator, as soon as Plaid/MX supports MFA for the specific Financial Institution the user can connect to such Financial Institutions.

However, it must be noted that if MFA is required every time a user connects, then it will required to Update Credentials every time they want to download transactions.

Further to this, it will be helpful to inquire with the Financial Institutions if MFA can be disabled for 3rd party access to make Bank Feeds more easily accessible.

Kind regards,

Amaan.
