We have matched all our bank feeds in Banking > Process Bank Transactions.

However, when we process the Reconciliation Report, the clear date on the transaction does not match with the date of the bank feed transaction line item that it was matched to.

Also, once reconciled, the reconciled transactions are still appearing in the bank feed.

Is this a bug, or is there a step that has been missed?

My response was crafted with AI assistance, tailored to provide detailed and actionable guidance for your query.

The issue you described regarding the Reconciliation Statement not matching the clear date with the transaction date from the bank feed, and reconciled transactions still appearing in the bank feed, is not necessarily a bug but may result from a missed configuration or process step.

Potential Causes and Solutions:

  1. Clear Date Discrepancy:

    • The clear date in the reconciliation statement reflects the date when the transaction was reconciled in Acumatica, which might not always align with the bank feed transaction date.
    • Ensure that the "Clear Date" is correctly updated during the reconciliation process. Verify that no manual changes were made after the matching in Banking > Process Bank Transactions.
  2. Reconciled Transactions Reappearing:

    • Transactions that appear in the reconciliation report after being reconciled might occur if the reconciliation was not finalized.
    • Check the Bank Reconciliation (CA302000) form to confirm that the reconciliation was completed and saved. Transactions should be marked as reconciled and not reappear in future bank feeds.
  3. Incomplete Bank Feed Integration:

    • Verify that the bank feed integration is correctly configured and transactions are not being duplicated. Refer to the Bank Feed Integration settings in Acumatica ERP to confirm no issues with imported data .
  4. Steps to Verify and Correct the Process:

    • Step 1: Ensure all transactions are correctly matched in Banking > Process Bank Transactions. Any unmatched transactions might create discrepancies.
    • Step 2: Finalize the reconciliation report by ensuring all sections balance and saving the report.
    • Step 3: Cross-check the Bank Reconciliation Report for anomalies such as missing cleared dates or incorrectly marked transactions.
  5. Audit Transaction Details:

    • If issues persist, audit the Bank Transactions Details (CA306000) form for the specific transactions to verify the dates and match statuses.

Troubleshooting:

  • Check the user role permissions if certain functions, like saving or finalizing reconciliations, are restricted.
  • Clear the browser cache or ensure that your ERP instance is updated to the latest supported version to avoid system behavior anomalies.
