What report can be used to review bin locations prior to inventory physical counts? We can’t show it on a GI as we have multiple locations, but need to be able to review the report to identify updates needed.

You could use either the Storage Summary screen (IN409010) or Inventory Balance Report (IN615000). For the Inventory Balance Report, make sure to check Location details.
Otherwise, you can build a basic GI using only the INLocationStatus table. This table gives a breakdown of the Inventory in each Warehouse location.

To review warehouse locations using a standard report instead of a Generic Inquiry, you can use the Inventory Balance (IN615000) report. On the Report Parameters tab of this report form, there is a Location Details check box. Selecting this check box before running the report will break down your inventory data by specific warehouse locations, allowing you to review the balances and identify any updates needed before beginning your count.
Alternatively, if you want to review the specific locations and items that are going to be targeted for an upcoming count, you can start the count preparation process. If this is needed, please let me know.
