Setting up Row Sets for Intercompany Elimination

I have set up row sets that work on standalone Income Statement, but not sure how to design the row set so it eliminates on consolidated statement. Maybe I need different GL accounts - see below. Entity A - CorrectSale to end customer - $25K COGS for order - $21K Entity B - CorrectInterco sale of $21KConsolidated - No EliminationThe intercompany Sales line should be zero and hidden. The COGS material line should be $13,827 ($34,889 - 21,062) The row sets are set up as follows:Intercompany sales being driven by GL account 40005 COGS Material being driven by COGS account class How do I go about eliminating the interco entries on consolidation. Open to changing row set/GL account/Account classes as necesary but wondering what the best practice is for structuring this.

Corporate credit card suggestions

Can anyone tell me if they’ve had any success with corporate credit cards and Bank Feeds? We have clients asking what credit card we would suggest and none of our other clients have been able to connect bank feeds with their bank. I would like to at least have 1 credit card I can tell my clients that works.

Change order not showing up in details

I have two change orders for a subcontract, one is showing up in details to be able to bill, but one is not, and I don’t know why. It’s listed in the Change Order part of the sub contract But it doesn’t get pushed over to the detail part of the sub contract, so I am unable to bill against it: They are both closed, it has not been added to the main contract, I don’t know how to make it show up in details.

Stop previous day changes

I am looking for suggestions on how to prevent previous day postings. I do daily reconciliations of sales and COGS accounts. Everyday I am having to go back and do each day because there are changes and my numbers are no longer balanced. This has become very cumbersome to manage. Is there a setup that we are missing to stop the constant changes?

Trial Balance Report- Bringing in 12th Period of Prior Year

I’ve been trying to build a subreport (basically a copy of the trial balance report) that would pull the 12th period ending balances for each account and pass that value to the standard Trial Balance. I can get the subreport to show values if I run it directly but the value never shows on the original. Am I missing something or is there an inherent problem with trying to get this value into the same report? I’ve attached the report (GL632EMS) and subreport (GL632e99) to this topic. If anyone can point to me what my issue is I much appreciate the assist!

Preset GL Accounts for Vendors

Hi There! When my company first joined Acumatica we were entering expense accounts and subaccounts under the GL Accounts tab when entering new vendors.Fast forward to today a majority of these expense accounts need to be updated so we would like to remove the preset expense accounts all together to prevent bills from being miscoded. Is there a way to remove all of the preset coding from all of the vendors at once or will this require individual removal?

Trouble with Expense Receipt - AP Subaccount Cannot Be Empty

Hello, We are experiencing an issue when attempting to release an expense claim in the system. Everything to me appears to be filled out correctly, but we get the following error when trying to release the claim. Here is a screenshot of the Trace Log that basically just shows the same thing. From the first screenshot, it looks like the Expense account and subaccount are filled in correctly. And I’ve compared this claim to others that have been able to release. Any ideas why this one won’t go through?

Prepayment for a blanket purchase order

I was wondering if there was a way to create a prepayment for a blanket purchase order without having to go through a normal purchase order linked to the blanket purchase order. We create orders with vendors who each require an upfront deposit of a percentage of the total amount.Example: We create a blanket PO for 1000 toothbrushes with a total charge of $1000. We need to pay a deposit of 30%, so $300. How can I attach a prepayment for this $300 to the blanket PO?There is an action to create a prepayment request on a normal purchase order but not on a blanket purchase order, so I’m assuming this requires some kind of workaround.

2022 R2 build Multiple Generic Inquiries Error: incorrect syntax n ear '1000'. Incorrect syntax near ')'.

I installed the 2022 R2 build on my local Demo install and we also have it in an upgrade sandbox we are testing. I have several Generic Inquiries that came with Acumatica that all have similar errors.Error: incorrect syntax n ear '1000'. Incorrect syntax near ')'.Reclassifications by Period Unprocessed GL Transactions with High Scores Open Anomalies by ConfidenceWhat needs to be done to get these errors to go away? Is something not enabled that should be with this new release?

Bank Deposit Error - $3767 payment shows $0 Deposit Amount

See the attached screenshots. As you can see, the undeposited funds report shows Prepayment 009665 Ck#1389 with the amount of $3767, but when I add this payment to a deposit, it shows the deposit amount as $0.00. The reason I have a voided payment on there as well is that we tried just voiding this and reentering the payment to resolve. Unfortunately, the voided payment shows up as ($3767.00) causing my correction deposit to be negative. I have been using Acumatica for almost a year and have not seen this error before. Can someone tell me why this happened and how to resolve it?

Bank Feeds - Transactions came in once or twice and now nothing comes in even though Acumatica shows successful

We have a client who is on 2022 R2. They have 9 Branches and over 25 bank accounts. They purchased the additional license for the 25 bank accounts. All branches use the same bank - Bulldog. We setup one bank feed called “Bulldog”, connected with Plaid and all bank accounts across all branches came in. We then mapped all the bank accounts to the respective Acumatica Cash Accounts. We manually ran Retrieve Bank Feed Transactions on 4/7 and transactions from 4/1 to 4/7 came in but not for all the bank accounts setup for each branch. It seemed to only bring in transactions for the first Cash Account associated with the branch . We put the Retrieve Bank Feed process on an automation schedule on 4/8 and since it is has been on the schedule hardly anything has come in. Automation History shows successful but last transaction that came in was from 4/13 and that was only on one Bank Account for one Branch. Nothing came in to any of the 25 other bank accounts. What is the best way to deal with wrong amount bill which has been released?

Hello, I have read the below post carefullyHow to delete a bill when it's already been released? | Community (acumatica.com) But can I ask a specific case? Supposing, we have purchased 10 cases item A and 20 cases item B, all with $100 each case on original bill and released. Now we find the actual cost of item A is $120 per cases. So the bill is $200 under amount. If we create another bill posting to “purchase accrual ” with $200 in total, it could make the AP amount correct. But the inventory cost of item A is not corrected. And the figure post to “purchase accrual” would not convert to “cost of good sold” automatically. Return the receipt and reverse the bill seems a way to go, but it is a little bit complicated.Since we only need to correct 1 item’s cost and corret the AP and expense amount (the purchase accrual convert to inventory and would finally convert to cost of good sold), any suggestion?

Row Set Issue Account Groups on the Balance Sheet

Hi,I have a strange issue. I am creating a row set using account groups for the Balance Sheet. However, when I select the Data Source for a line item that has a G/L type for an Account Group, if I select Account to Expand and select a Row Description it is not properly displaying the correct row description. Is this a known issue or by design. Let me know. This is for 2022 R2. Note: This is not an issue when I am using Account Groups on the Income Statement side. Thanks,Frances

Is it possible to post a payment to a vendor without attaching it to a purchase order?

Hi,So, we have wired a payment to one of our overseas vendors and later cancelled the order. We are now left with a payment sent to a vendor that we want to use for future orders. Which brings me to my questions. Is it possible to just post a payment to a vendor and have it on account? And then at a later time apply it to a purchase order? I have previously tried creating a Quick Check to just post the payment and then trying to apply it to an open purchase order but the system wouldn’t allow it. Selecting Quick Check was not an option anywhere. I ended up voiding the quick check. Is there something that I’m missing in this process?Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance. 😊

Consolidation Error

Hello All,I have been trying to setup and synchronise the consolidation process in Acumatica.I have been using the U100 and Sales Demo data for this and I want to setup the same for U100 instance. I would like to consolidate the data for the Actual ledger of Headoffice with the consolidation ledger of Sales Demo instance.For this I created a consolidation ledger in the Sales Demo instance. Imported the COA of Headoffice to the Sales Demo instance.Here in the above screenshot, I have entered the Username, pwd and the URL for the Sales Demo instance.And upon synchronising the following error is getting triggered: Kindly let me know what is it I am missing during the process.Thank you in advance.

Recurring entry for monthly loan payments where principal and interest distributions determined from amortization schedule

Situation - a business has a long term loan, a mortgage loan, where the monthly payment is fixed and the split between principal and interest varies each month based on the mortgage amortization schedule. The monthly loan payments to the lender are set up to be made via PAD direct from the company bank account.I can create the first monthly mortgage payment as a journal transaction and then create a recurring transaction from the journal transaction. Generate recurring transactions will create the monthly payment journal transactions, but only the 1st payment will be correct. The finance user will need to edit the 2nd and future journal transactions and correct the principal and interest distribution amounts manually, according to the amounts from the amortization schedule.Is there a better way to configure this?I suppose the Balanced 1st journal transaction could be exported to Excel and the future monthly payment transactions be added into the Excel sheet with the correct split betw

Negatives not appearing correctly in Excel export. Seen this before?

I wrote a new P&L in ARM with expense rows coded to show as negative. It works correctly in the report, but when exported to Excel I have the problems below:Amounts appearing as positive in Excel but negative in the formula bar (i.e. Excel treating as negative but appears as positive) Amounts appearing as positive when they are actually negative (opposite of #1) Amount showing as negative in both Acumatica and Excel (correct) but in formula bar it’s actually pulling through as a positive numberBasically the negatives are all wrong in Excel, but not consistently so 🙃 I’ve looked extensively online and in the community but haven’t found a solution. An example of the row format is below: Appreciate any help!
