Is there a way for me to set us fixed asset approval flow in the system? Currently there is no approval in that I can assign approval map in Fixed Asset Preferences. If I would like to set up approval map in General Ledger for Fixed Asset Depreciation, is there a way to set up in the system? Or it can only be done through customization? Thank you.

The current out of box functionality does not offer configuration of approval for the fixed assets module.
A customization would be required.
I would suggest adding this to the ideas page on https://community.acumatica.com/ideas so that this can be voted on by other partners or customers and considered in future product enhancements.
Our developers regularly check this page and may implement well voted ideas to future versions of Acumatica.

Acumatica has no built-in option to approve Fixed Asset creation, or for Calculate Depreciation, releasing depreciation batches, etc. through version 2024 R2.
You have some control with Roles - you can control which users may Convert purchases to Assets, manually add Fixed Assets, Calculate Depreciation, and Release Fixed Assets depreciation using assignment of Roles to the Users.
Approval Maps are available for General Ledger Journal Transactions screen. It is possible to apply Conditions to Journal Transactions Approvals to identify Fixed Assets, Accumulated Depreciation, and Depreciation Expense Accounts to trigger approval and route approval to the Fixed Assets Manager:
