Hi,

Has anyone successfully removed prepayment and payment amounts from the calculation of the aging buckets on the AR Aging report. I have the report filtering out the prepayment and payment transactions so they do not show up on the report but those prepayment and payment amount are still showing up in the aging balances. I need to remove the prepayment and payment amounts from the aging balances.

@etrojan28 this post may help with making changes to the AR aging reports, this one is related to customer statements and excluding prepayments but it may be a good start to help modify the reports you listed

 

Thanks @iqraharrison I actually dropped a comment on that thread. I have the report filtering out the Prepayment and Payments. The issue is the aging buckets are still including those amounts that are filtered out.

Is your report customized? Users in the Report Designer role can see the report versions tab.  Please de-activate all custom versions of your Aging report to rule out customizations as the cause of the totaling problem.

Inactivate all custom versions and then test Aging report

Did you try AR Aged Period-sensitive report?  I tried AR Aged Period-sensitive report with and without Prepayments.

With Prepayments, totals on last page:

Without Prepayments, totals on last page are increased (I still included Payments).

The report has minor customizations I actually copied over the stock report and I’m having the same issue on the out of box report. Detail looks great but the total in the footer still includes prepayment balances.
