Hello @lwilde62

Cash Accounts can be used across different companies under the same Tenant.

Currently there is option to restriction by Branch. There is an Product Idea to enhance feature to restriction at company level

Hope this helps

Cash accounts are tied to a branch but you can use the same GL accounts for cash accounts from different branches. You also aren’t restricted from using one branch’s cash account to pay for purchases in another branch but you’ll want to do some GL batch testing beforehand.

Hello @lwilde62

As per the standard design, the user needs to create branch-wise Cash accounts in the Banking module. The suitable way is to maintain separate GL accounts for individual cash accounts. That will be very helpful when we check the cash account balance (CM sub-ledger balance) with the GL account balance (GL account balance)

If you need, you can link one GL account to a few cash accounts. However, in the banking module, you need to create branch-wise cash accounts.
