@ViweM  when you created the schedule did you start on the Process screen and use the “schedules” button as below ?  If not I would suggest to remove schedule and starts with Process screen and Schedules button whenever creating a schedule.

Also when scheduling a Process you must use the Process All Action not Process

Would process all open all periods? I only want to open one period at a time.

This still doesn’t work even with process all in 22.111.0020. I noticed when you click view screen on the automation schedule screen it populates no periods. but if I change the action to select, then back to open they appear and I use view screen again on the automation schedule then it populates the period. This means the filter for the action is trying to enter it as open prior to the cache being initialized. Going to try make the field commit/initialize in a local instance and see if that fixes it.

Hi @JTang

I have done the below setup to Open the calender

It processed as shown above.

Thanks

Hi there, the issue is using the conditions tab and setting a filter for the period as we would only want to open the next period, rather than opening all available periods as @ViweM mentioned already.

Does any one have any idea if it is possible to set an automatic schedule for opening just next financial period not all inactive periods? I would greatly appreciate if someone could shed light on it.

@mganji, I think this could be done with an Import Scenario.  I put an exmaple in this thread:

I haven’t tested the import scenario yet, but the automation schedule will not work even if it fires because the relative checkbox only works for dates not financial periods.
