has anyone been able to use the decision wait time on approval maps?
What happens when the decision wait time expires what happens to the pending transaction?
I set my wait time for 10 minutes and nothing happened, I was still able to approve it after the ten minutes.
Do i need to set something else up?

Hello,
I have successfully used decision wait time, though I have never used a time as short as 10 minutes. 🤔
I typically set the field to 2 days. When two days passes, the approval is “late” and it turns to red text on the approvals screen. Today’s date and decision wait time can be used to send out a reminder notification to the Approver, to let them know they are late on approving a document.
There is no real clarification on the decision wait time. It does not clarify what the system does if you do not meet the time frame. The help only states:
Decision Wait Time
The time period within which the assigned approver should approve or reject the record. A zero wait time would mean that the record may await approval for an indefinite period of time.

To send out a reminder when an approval is late, create a Generic Inquiry “Late Approvals.” Include in the GI conditions only bills where
Bill’s Status is Pending approval, and
Calculated difference between Today and the Last Updated date on the AP Bill is greater or equal to the wait time you want, before the system reminds the staff.
Next, create a Business event based on the GI you’ve created.
Then Schedule the Business event to check and remind once per day, or once per week & send out emails.
