Project Restrictions for certain users

In the Project record, we have added dropdown fields for Project Administrator and Project Coordinator based on position. The existing Project Manager field is also a dropdown based on position. We want to restrict access so that these users can only view projects assigned to them and not see other projects. What would be the best way to achieve this? Thanks

@frocido If you have the Row Level Security feature enabled you can restrict project access to specific users, this is probably the easiest way. All the other ways likely involve using customizations to change the logic of the look up or hiding it and replacing it with a different look up.

@BenjaminCrisman Thank you. The Row Level Security will not work for us as this is very manual.  It is like we need to check it everyday to set the project restrictions and it may cause also issue if user unintentionally tick, untick the projects for certain group.
