Hi there. My company lately has been working on getting our customer portal up and running. As of now we are really only focusing on making it so that customers can view their Invoices/Statements online and make payments online. I have been working on getting everything up and running by using a local sandbox to test out the portal and see what we would need to do before going live. I was planning on using Authorize.Net since it seemed to be the most compatible payment gateway. I have unfortunately just been made aware that as of 2025 R1 Authorize.Net will no longer be supported, and that Acumatica Payments will instead be supported for versions after 2023 R2. (See page 7 of the 2024R1 build guide: https://acumatica-builds.s3.amazonaws.com/builds/24.1/ReleaseNotes/AcumaticaERP_2024R1_ReleaseNotes_full.pdf) Unfortunately, we just upgraded to 2023 R1 around this time last year, so that puts a bit of a damper on our plans.
Regardless, I am prepared to start from scratch and get to work on navigating Acumatica Payments by making a new sand box with an updated version of Acumatica just to understand the groundwork that will be needed. However, I have a bit of confusion about even getting started on this.
For starters, I am unsure which customization I should use to enable customer payment entry on the portal. I have seen two links so far:

I don’t know which one I should try to use to install in order to begin testing. I know the second link explicitly states that it uses the Authorize.net gateway for payments, but I was not sure if it has been modified since 23 R2 to provide support for other gateways. Which one should I consider installing?
Secondly, I need to know if I need to find a new payment gateway that isn’t Authorize.Net. Is it only the Authorize.Net plugin that is being discontinued, or is it Authroize.Net in its entirety? Is Acumatica Payments supposed to be it’s own gateway now? How do I even get in contact with the Acumatica Payments Sales team? Regardless, I am having trouble finding a recent reliable source for which payment gateways currently are, and plan to be supported by Acumatica. The best information I could find was this link, but it is several years old and doesn’t seem to be an up to date list.
Would anybody be able to help me regarding these things and point me in the right direction?
