Drag and Drop Files in Modern UI?

We are testing the modern UI in 2025R2, and are no longer able to drag a file from Windows Explorer on to an Acumatica screen and have it upload to the Files area.  When trying this, the file appears to go directly to the workstation's Downloads folder.

So far, to make it work we have to click on Files, then drag and drop to that window.  

This is a minor inconvenience, but I couldn’t find anything on it in the 25R2 release notes so wondering if we are missing something.  Anyone else seeing this or aware of documentation on the change?

    Same here. We rolled back to the classic UI because of this.

    ​@Andy Smith - I was trying to reproduce this issue on an instance on my end. I noticed the following with Modern UI on. 

    If you drag it in the lower part of the grid to upload a file, the system doens’t accept the file and as a result doesn’t upload. 
     



    However, if you drag the file into the top part of the dialog box, it seemed to work for me.

     

    Would you please try that and report back if that is working for you?

    Either way, this is strange behavior and I will report back to our technical teams to investigate further.

    ​@Omar Ghazi - I believe the original functionality was being able to drag the file into the FORM header. Like not connected to the files dialog at all.

    Seeing the same behavior in 2025R2 modern UI. Can't drag and drop files for attachments any longer.
