Accessing a Started but Unconfirmed Pick List by a Different User

We’re using Acumatica’s WMS and we’ve run into an issue with a pick list that was started by one user but not confirmed. The original picker left for the day without completing the pick, and now the pick list is essentially locked—no other users can access it, either through the picking screen or the pack-out stage.

Is there a way for a different user (such as a supervisor or another picker) to either take over the pick list or force it into a confirmable state so we can move the order to packing?

Any guidance on how to handle in-progress pick lists that are abandoned before confirmation would be appreciated!

Sorry to revive an old topic, but did you ever figure out a solution to this? we are having a similar issue. A shipment is in Being Picked status but no one can access it on their device to complete it, and we cannot delete the pick list from the web browser or confirm the shipment.

Hi Lyndsey - There has been no resolution, but I think I remember that this is on the roadmap.

We have a business rule that the team members have to check that they have no picks in progress when they leave for the day. That has helped to reduce the number of issues we run into.

When it does come up the options we have uncovered are:

  1. Reset the user’s password and either the supervisor or SME logs in as the user and does whatever steps are necessary for example finish the pick or back it out. And then the user resets their password after they return to the office or
  1. System admin impersonates the user, does the steps to finish or back it out.

Neither is ideal, so we are still hoping for another way.

    Ugh. The issue I’m having is that somehow 2 users both opened the same pick list at the same time, then both backed out. The list is locked in being picked status, but neither user can re-enter the shipment, and I’m at a bit of a loss as to how it happened or how to fix it.
