Acumatica ERP version: 2022 R1

Training Description: This webinar is based on a set of examples that demonstrate how to install the system, apply updates, perform system maintenance, and configure the system.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over four days as follows:

  • Day 1: Installation. In this session, you will learn about possible deployment configurations, and the minimum system requirements that should be met when you are installing the Acumatica ERP system locally. You will make sure that your computer meets the system requirements, obtain the Acumatica ERP installation package, install the Acumatica ERP Configuration Wizard application software, and also deploy an Acumatica ERP application instance.
  • Day 2: Enabling Features and Activating a License. Maintenance. In this session, you will learn how to deploy an Acumatica ERP application instance with the demo data and a multitenant Acumatica ERP application instance, and also how to change password for the first login. You will learn how to enable feature groups for an Acumatica ERP application instance and how to activate a full-product Acumatica ERP license. Moreover, you will learn how to view the details of a application instance, change a database of an application instance, make an existing tenant invisible, and create a new child tenant for the application instance and insert demo data to this tenant.
  • Day 3: Further maintenance. In this session, you will learn how to upgrade the Acumatica ERP Tools, the application instance, and only the site of the application instance. You will also specify a new session, cookie, query, and report query time-out setting, and turn on reminders. You will learn about the deletion of application instances and about uninstalling the Acumatica ERP Configuration Wizard, and about numbering sequences and subsequences. Moreover, you will learn how to delete an application instance by using the Acumatica ERP Configuration Wizard, how to create a new numbering sequence and create a numbering sequence that uses prefixes.
  • Day 4: System Configuration and Management. In this session, you will learn about the predefined set of segmented keys, the configuration of the keys, validation of segments, and specifics of the BIZACCT key. You will configure a segmented key with one segment, a key with multiple segments, and the BIZACCT key. You will also populate a list of possible segment values, create a wiki, create a wiki article and add it to the wiki, create an article with the attached file, and earn about role-based access to wiki articles.

Partner Certification: This class is based on the materials of the S100 System Installation and Maintenance course, which is part of the System Administrator and Support Specialist badges. Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.

*To provide a virtual machines (VM) for attendees, we need to generate a registration report, deploy the VMs, and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the VM and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

In his current role as an ERP Implementation Consultant, Chris Pelton assists customers and partners in implementing Acumatica Distribution, Manufacturing and POS solutions. Prior to joining Acumatica, Chris has been involved with ERP software for over 20 years and has been a Director of IT for a metal coating company for 6 years.

Prerequisites­

An understanding of Windows Administration Tools is required for this course. Also, you should be familiar with the processes of installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer systems.

Advance Preparations: None. Attendees will be provided with a virtual machine for training purposes.
