Audience: This course is intended for Marketing Specialists who work with Acumatica ERP CRM functionality.

Training Description: This course introduces you to the Acumatica ERP CRM functionality based on a set of examples that illustrate CRM marketing processes in a small company.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over three days as follows:

  • Day 1: Acquiring Audience. In this session, you will create a lead manually, import leads from a purchased list, and create a lead by using the Acumatica add-in for Outlook. You will get familiar with the process of duplicate validation in the system. You will also learn how to validate individual leads and contacts for duplicates, merge duplicate leads, link leads and contacts, and validate multiple leads for duplicates.
  • Day 2: Managing Audience. In this session, you will learn how to assign a lead manually to a particular owner, in a lead class, specify how the system determines the default owner it assigns to new leads of the class, and assign a selected group of leads to workgroups by using a lead assignment map. You will learn how to create an email and send it to a lead and register a phone call by creating an activity of the Phone Call type. You will also learn how to create a static marketing list, which must be created and changed manually, and add members to this list, unsubscribe a member from the marketing list, and create a dynamic marketing list, which can be automatically formed and updated based on rules that you specify.
  • Day 3: Managing Marketing Campaigns and Qualifying Leads. In this session, you will learn how to send a mass email to the members of a marketing list. You will learn how to create a marketing campaign, move the marketing campaign through stages, track expenses related to the marketing campaign through integration with project accounting, and view marketing campaign statistics. You will learn how to send a mass email to the members of a marketing campaign. At the end of the session, you will learn how to use the lead states in Acumatica ERP in your lead qualification workflow, qualify a lead and pass the marketing-qualified lead to a sales team for further qualification, disqualify a lead, and reopen a disqualified lead.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Instructor: Paul Layton

Paul began his career in public accounting as a CPA working in Regional then National Accounting Firms becoming a manager in Accounting and Audit.  After leaving public accounting Paul continued to focus on accounting and management positions spending time as a controller for multi-outlet retail operations, as a CFO for the Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati and as a CFO at ecampus.com an online retailer of college textbooks.  In each of these positions Paul oversaw implementing new ERP software.  Finding this was a primary calling he began working with a firm in Northern Ky implementing ERP software and has continued working with implementation, training, and sales of ERP systems ever since.
