Training Description: This webinar provides a set of lessons that illustrate equipment and route management processes in a midsize company.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over four days as follows:

  • Day 1: Equipment Management. Part I. In this session, you will learn how to enable the Equipment Management feature and review the minimum required configuration settings for the equipment management functionality. You will create the following records in the system: a manufacturer, an item class of the Model Equipment type, a stock item of the Model Equipment type without components, an item class of the Component type, stock items of the Component type, and a stock item of the Model Equipment type with components specified. You will also record the receipt of stock items in the system and create a sales order to register the sale of a piece of equipment to a customer, review the target equipment that a customer has, create an appointment for services performed on the customer's target equipment, and create target equipment manually.
  • Day 2: Equipment Management. Part II. In this session, you will learn how to sell a piece of equipment and an optional component, sell an optional component that will upgrade target equipment, upgrade a default component of a piece of equipment being sold, replace target equipment, and replace a component of target equipment. In addition, you will create a service contract billed at the time of service, at the end of the billing period, and also at the beginning of the billing period.
  • Day 3: Route Management. In this session, you will learn how to enable the Route Management feature, perform the minimum required configuration for the route management functionality, review a service order type with the Route behavior, create a driver skill and assign it to staff members, create a vehicle type, vehicles, an item class for route services and then create a route service, and also create two routes. Moreover, you will create a route execution document and add appointments to the route, view the route on the map, modify the route execution document and edit the order of appointments in the route execution, start, complete, and close route execution, and run route appointment billing.
  • Day 4: Route Management in the Mobile App. In this session, you will learn how to create a pickup route service, a delivery route service, a route execution document, how to add appointments to the route, and how to start, complete, and close route executions. You will create a route for the service contract, and then create a service contract, a schedule for the route service contract, you will specify the order in which the appointments for the route will be generated, generate appointments for the service contract, and find the generated route execution documents in the system and assign drivers and vehicles to them. Also, you will have a chance to learn how to sign in to the Acumatica mobile app, how to navigate between the app screens, how to make selections on the screens, start a route appointment in the mobile app, complete a route in the mobile app, and generate an invoice for the appointment.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Prerequisites­

You should complete the S100D100, and V100 courses and be familiar with the basic and advanced financial and distribution business processes.

None. Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.
