Audience: This course is intended for consultants of field services who use service management processes of Acumatica ERP.

Training Description: This webinar demonstrates the service management processes and explanations of the configuration and business process flow in Acumatica ERP.
Training Syllabus: The program is covered over four days as follows:
- Day 1: Configuring Service Management. During this webinar, you will learn about the settings that need to be specified, enable the system features, and review the minimum required settings for the service management functionality, as well as how branch locations are used in service management, and you will also review and create branch locations to get familiar with their settings. In addition, you will learn how to create service order types and specify the necessary settings, create a service class, select a billing rule for a service class, and create a new service in Acumatica ERP.
- Day 2: Configuring Service Management. The session continues by demonstrating how to create service areas, assign a service area to a staff member, and generate a schedule for a specific period of time. Additionally, you will learn how to create a billing cycle, assign a billing cycle to a customer, create equipment types, assign equipment types to services, create equipment records, and review the history of equipment.
- Day 3: Processing Service Documents. Additionally, the webinar will include instructions on how to create a service order with the service requested by a customer, create an appointment, assign a staff member to perform the service, begin the appointment, complete the appointment, and run billing for the service order. This webinar will also demonstrate instructions on adding a new service to an existing service order, considering the skills of the staff member assigned to the service order, setting up a new appointment to provide the additional service, adding this appointment to a service order, processing a service order with the Quick Process command, reviewing the generated billing documents, and creating appointments in the system in a number of different ways.
- Day 4: Processing Service Documents and Processing Service Documents in the Mobile App. Finally, the webinar series will conclude by explaining how to use the Quick Process command to manage an appointment, inspect the generated billing documents, generate billing documents in one go for various appointments of different customers with dissimilar billing cycles, craft a quotation, ratify the quotation, and transfer the quotation to a service order. And also exhibit how to inspect and sort the appointments given to a staff member, initiate the appointment and integrate an extra element to the details tab and obtain the customer’s endorsement and conclude the appointment.

Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. Instructor: Valentina Diaz
Valentina Diaz formed part of the original development team that implemented Field Services module; therefore, she possesses a deep knowledge of the Field Services functionality.
In her current role, Valentina oversees the creation of new features and redesign the existing functionality for Acumatica Field Service critical modules, analyses business scenarios, elicit user scenarios, gathers product requirements, cooperates with technical writers reviewing educational materials and helps with documentation. She also shares her product expertise to mentors and teach new and current team members.
Prerequisites
For this webinar, attendees are expected to be familiar with the basic business processes that can be performed in the general ledger, cash management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. And also required to complete the following training courses:
