Audience: This webinar is intended for consultants who are working with the advanced service management processes using Acumatica ERP.

Training Description: The webinar consists of lessons that guide you step by step through the examples and explanations of the business process flow in Acumatica ERP.
Training Syllabus: The program is covered over two days as follows:
- Day 1: Recording Staff Time in Appointments, Processing Sales Order-Related Service Orders, and Service Orders with Items to Be Purchased. In this webinar, we'll walk you through how to assign a staff member to an appointment so they can do everything, record the time spent on the appointment, and assign staff members to each service and record the time spent providing it. Additionally, you'll learn to create a service order, an appointment, process the appointment, create a service order with an item to buy, create a purchase order that includes at least one item in a service order, and process a purchase order that includes at least one item in a service order.
- Day 2: Processing Case-Related and Opportunity-Related Service Orders,Correcting Appointments and Processing Prepayments for Service Orders. During this webinar, you'll get an understanding of how to create a case that needs to be resolved, how to create a service order from that case. Process an appointment associated with a case, close a case, create an opportunity with at least one service, get a sales quote for the opportunity, send it to the customer, create the service order from the opportunity. Then you'll learn how to make an opportunity-related appointment for a service order, fix an appointment and send a new AR invoice, find an appointment if it's been deleted from the billing file, create a service order and enter the prepayment, make an appointment and enter the second prepayment, make a sales order and check the prepayments applied.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.
Instructor: Ashani Jayakody
In her current role, Ashani Jayakody analyses the customer business requirements, introduces new features, and involve in troubleshooting existing defects of Acumatica software with the intention of assisting the senior management team to keep on improvising the application to meet its best version possible. Ashani mainly analyses the service management module along with financials and procurement.
Prior to joining Acumatica, Ashani was an ERP Consultant at Pricewaterhousecoopers, where she focused on the feature enhancements, user training, and support requests of Oracle Cloud ERP application. Before that she worked as a business analyst for the same company analysing financial processes to implement financial function effectiveness.
Prerequisites
You should complete the F100 Financial Basics, the D100 Inventory and Order Management Basics , and V100 Service Management Implementation and Processing courses to be familiar with the basic business processes that can be performed in the general ledger, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable and service management as well as know about the basic configuration of the inventory, purchase orders, and sales orders and service management.
Advance Preparations
None. Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.
