What Sales reporting tool integrates with Acumatica? We are unable to extract effective Sales data for our owner. We need a robust tool to capture the following and more:

Sales By: Customer, Customer and $$$, Customer and Product, ytd, ytd vs. last year ptd

Product - units sold, $$$ sold, ytd, ytd vs. last year ptd

Thank you.

Hi Jay,

Sorry for the delay, I just got married and was out of the country!

I agree with you the content I shared may seem advanced -- I really wanted to show all the steps and build this on the fly. We do have ready-to-use samples to share if needed, and with this any Excel user should be able to make tweaks to fit their needs.

Do not hesitate to contact me directly if I can be of any help.

@jsudak,

Good afternoon.

I did a search in the marketplace for sales reporting tool and came up with five options.

https://www.acumatica.com/acumatica-marketplace/?selectCategory=&selectIndustry=&selectGeography=&search=sales%20reporting%20tool&selectType=&selectPage=1

Hope this helps.

Thank you, Ed. I had found the same when I searched marketplace.

I’m hopeful that another community member or experienced Acumatica user will respond by sharing their experience with these or other platforms, or by offering a solution they’ve developed within Acumatica. Surely someone has needed detailed sales reports and found an effective way to extract them from the system—after all, the data is already being collected and recorded in Acumatica.

Hey @jsudak ,

A couple of plays here.  The tools and trainings are available within the system to build GI’s, reports, and dashboards within your instance to cover your needs.  Integrating with something like Excel or Power BI is not terribly difficult either if you or someone in-house has intermediate-level experience with such things.

If you’re looking for a turnkey solution, however, I would touch base with @Gabriel Michaud at Velixo.  They have been in the Acumatica space for a long time, and lots of organizations seem very happy with the service.

Thank you very much, Craig2.

At this point, I don’t yet have the advanced skills needed to create the reports our Owner is requesting. Unfortunately, the tools and training available within the system haven’t provided enough guidance for me to learn what’s required to build these reports effectively.

Integrating with something like Excel or Power BI might be a good solution, but I don’t currently have the intermediate-level experience needed to use them effectively.

I’ll explore Velixo again to determine whether it can help meet our reporting requirements.

@jsudak I’m Velixo’s founder and would be happy to help you with your query -- I have pre-built templates that I can share, and also previously recorded a YouTube video series showing how I built it. I did a quick update to have it show totals by customer/year/product.

Part 1:

Part 2:

Part 3:

(and if that can help any Velixo user, the inquiries and template can be downloaded here: https://velixo-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/p/gabriel/Er4EMk67gaBMhXuLhm5KUmYBBJyib2fyPuUy_PtDVPhsKA?e=qROcB4)

Hi Gabriel - Thank you very much for your detailed response. It looks like this may very well address the concerns our owner has with the limitations of the standard Acumatica Sales Reports.

I was able to follow along with the videos to some extent, though I’ll admit that some of the content felt a bit advanced for me. Still, it’s clear that Velixo is a powerful tool.

I believe you’ve had prior contact with our Controller, though I’m not sure whether he was able to reconcile the cost of adding Velixo, as I wasn’t involved in those discussions.

Thanks again!

Jay
