Does anyone know if setting up commissions at the order level instead of the line item level is possible?
OOTB commission system assigns commissions to each item in SalesOrder. I’m not sure if I missed a setup option that would allow me to assign it at the order level.

You can tag the Sales Person on the [COMMISSIONS] Tab before adding on the details, thereby every time Line Items are created it defaults the Sales Person you selected on the COMMISSION Tab. Hope this helps.
+1If the selected customer for the order has a default salesperson specified on the Salespersons tab of the Customers (AR303000) form, the system inserts this salesperson’s ID automatically at the document level on the Commissions tab. By default all SOLines will be assigned this salesperson ID.
