I need to correct a quantity in a RO by returning some of the items on the same day but with no charge. When creating a return on the same day, it still charges for the day.
How do I avoid this charge?

Use a No-Charge Return Line- Create the return line with a rate of zero or apply a 100% discount so no rental charge is applied.
Thank you for the response. Would I create the return on the same day and then when going to invoice, change the amount to zero? Is there a way that the zero charge doesn’t show up on the invoice?
