       We are a traditional enterprise, and our picking operations still mainly rely on printed pick lists. Currently, we are considering introducing scanners. However, due to certain reasons, we do not want to switch our main picking method to being fully reliant on scanner operations. The method we hope to adopt is as follows:

  1. Print the pick list, which includes a barcode. When the picker starts picking, they scan this barcode to mark the beginning of the picking process.

  2. After the picker completes picking, they scan this barcode again to mark the end of the picking process.

--- Actually, this is our core requirement: we want to record who picked which shipment and the duration of the picking process.

       3.For actual data entry, we still rely on the current shipment screen, where basically all fields are pre-filled by default, keeping the operational method the same as it is now.

With that said, does Acumatica natively support such a process?

@adaughenbaugh95 Hello, and also to anybody who is still interested in this topic. I just developed a little tool to fulfil this requiremnt.  We are using Acuamtica to print Print list with Shipment# barcode on it. the picker will use my little tool scan the shipment#,  then it starts to record the start picking time. And then , after he finished, he scan the shipment# for the second time, the tool will record the the end picking time.
     It fill my need.

Have you tried SO302020 on the RF/Scanner?

Our users get their paper pick tasks, but then they scan through Pick Pack and Ship to confirm their picks and quantities.

We have gone so far as to remove the location barcode from the pick sheet so they have to scan the physical location.  Depending on your product labeling, you could do the same with the part #.

@adaughenbaugh95

        Hello, I tried the "Pick, Pack, Ship" page. I found that this page can help me record the start time of picking—for example, by scanning the shipment #. However, it seems that I must enter data through this page first to perform the "confirm picking" operation, and only then can the end time of picking be recorded.

       My requirement is that I only want to use this page to help record the start time and end time of picking. I do not want to enter data on this page.

Is there any way to directly confirm picking without entering data on this page?
