Blanket PO -> Drop Ship PO -> Link to Sales Order

Here’s the scenario:We are creating a large blanket PO for ~ 30 different countertops which are all custom and will be drop-shipped to different customers. We would like to be able to link the drop-ship POs to both the blanket PO as well as linked to the end-customer Sales Order. Is it possible to be linked to both?

Zip Code Entry to populate the City, State and Country

When a user enters in a Customer, Vendor, Contact, Ship to Address, (anywhere where the zip code is part of the address); the user would like to enter address line 1, zip code, and then have it auto populate the City, State and Country. We are converting a client from Sage and they are showing how the process works.

Import Scenario Adding Tax

Hey everyone, it’s me again! Still working through a few import scenarios. In my most recent Sales Order load, we are importing data from another source that already calculates the tax. So i have created a tax, tax zone, tax category that is a $0 tax (“MOD”), so that I could then ‘create’ a tax line with the appropriate amount. The import scenario properly handles the order and assigns this tax category to the line and the SO creates a ‘tax line’: The challenge is the “Tax Amount”. It is not populating the Tax Amount XML is attached.Thank you in advance for taking a look!

Import Scenario Put Sales Order on Hold multiple detail rows

Hello Everyone,I am stuck again with the import scenario logic. I have a Sales Order import scenario and I want to put the SO on hold at the end of the import. The SO has multiple lines and I can’t seem to figure out where the ‘release from hold’ needs to go in order to allow the First Row of the SO to be added without hitting an error. I have tried to put it a few difference places. I have attached the XML. In the current scenario the error is “the remove hold button is disabled” when trying to add the first row. I have tried to put a hold on the SO and release it, or place the release in different places, and i’m not getting it to work. Any help is appreciated!

Printing PO Receipt labels from the PO Receipt screen - can this be done?

I have a customer who wants to be able to print out inventory item labels directly from the PO Receipt screen.They have developed a report (label) as a stand-alone screen where they can select the receipt number and it creates a label for each line on the PO receipt with the total line qty. They aren’t concerned at this point with have an individual label for each item received, though I’ve seen a number of suggestions on ways to do that on the community.However, I haven’t seen anything on how to incorporate this on the PO Receipt screen.I have tried doing this myself with an Action in a customization but the parameters don’t allow you to select the inventory item on the detail line to pass to the report (label):Am I missing something?

Shipping integration tool with UPS and acumatica

Has anyone had an issue with acumatica pulling all the info from UPS back into the shipment with the shipping integration tool? I’ve noticed that when I get a shipment that has at least 10 boxes/packages, it won’t pull all the tracking numbers back into acumatica and the shipping cost has to be adjusted as well because its only pulling the cost of the boxes pulled back into the shipment in acumatica.

Stock Issues & Reason Codes

HiI have a challenge with reason codes in stock issue screen.My customer is a farming concern and have several sub accounts which need to absorb stock issue cost being fertilizer or chemicals, etc.Why can one not choose an account and sub account on this graph. We now have to create hundreds of reason codes representing account and subaccount combinations. its not practical. when you in the issue screen on the reason code field and one start typing for a quick search suggestion, the only value that it runs on is the reason code itself, not the description and not the account and not the subaccount either. If the suggestive search could run on description it can help already.I will appreciate some advice on this please. thank you

Vendor Consigned Inventory in Acumatica.

We are currently working with a client who wants to configure a vendor-consigned workflow in Acumatica using the out-of-the-box functionality. However, we have encountered a challenge in setting up the workflow due to the accounting treatment of consigned inventory usage. When the vendor's consigned stock is consumed in a production order, the system creates a Journal Entry that hits the Cost of Goods Sold account. But when we subsequently bill the vendor for the inventory used, the Accounts Payable bill also hits an expense account, resulting in a double recording of the cost. Any suggestions on how to manage such a scenario in Acumatica.

Adding Document Discount to SO Import Scenario

Hello,trying to add a document level discount to a SO Import Scenario where the SO could have multiple lines. Not sure exactly where to put the discount in order of operations, but i’ve been trying to follow the order of tabs in SO screen. I have also tried to put the discount above the ‘line details’. In this example the SO will have 2 lines, and i’m getting following error on the 2nd row (this example puts the discount after the ‘line details’ are entered - see XML): I have attached the XML for reference. Purchase Order won't move to closed status

Hello,I have a purchase order that I cannot get to move from the completed to closed status. This PO has two prepayments tied to it, both of the payments are used in full against a bill that has multiple receipts. The issue seems to stem from the fact that the freight cost line (which is manually added) still has an unbilled balance on it. Our vendor provided a total cost of $8050 for freight ahead of time; however, this freight was received partially several times as multiple shipments came in. This appears to make the PO think there there are still unbilled amounts, and therefore will not move it to the closed status (even though the other receipts contain the balance). I tried to check the closed box on the PO line manually but I am unable to do so. Any ideas on how to handle this? Thanks!

How to round down the Qty to supply on Prepare Replenishment

Does anyone know how to make the Qty to Supply field in Prepare Replenishment round down? Currently any decimal amounts for parts with a UOM of ‘EACH’ is round up to the nearest whole amount. We would like it to round down. Is there a way to do this?

Pick Pack Ship - Update recieved / picked quantity in details grid

Hi All, This is my first customization in acumatica. I am an absolute beginner to this. My requirement is as below:I need to update the default scan qty from 1 to 0 in pick pack ship and other similar forms( both web and mobile app). Currently its getting populated with 1 as default value. Please help me on this, how to do this and where to start with. If this was a customization in base code, it would be easy to do so, by grabbing the development branch and setting a debugger to find out the flow. Since this has quite a different approach whichis new to me, so getting hard time to figure out.Any reference to the or something similar are really appreciated.

Country of Origin for parts on receipts

Is there a way to record in a purchase receipt the country of origin of parts received? Sometimes I’ll order parts from a vendor and I won’t find out what the country of origin is until I look over the packing list.

LREX Monitoring to some items only

Hello Everyone!I have query, hope you guys can help me out. We have an existing inventory list, all of which LREX is not enabled...but now we want to enable the LREX monitoring, is this possible? What are the conditions e.g. should the qty be zero? is it set in the PO stage of getting new qty of the inventory item? Are there any more conditions? Request for SO Order View - Availability

Hello,I am trying to get an unbound field to populate with availability on the sales order line based on joining to the INSITESTATUS table. This works on pxdefault- however, it begins to break down when I’m updating allocations on the sales order and am pending a commit. I have a sense that there is a view that is being manipulated as the order is being input keeping things in sync before they are committed to the database and I just can’t seem to find anything written about it. Does anyone know what view is being updated to reflect the item availability information at the bottom of the grid? The end goal is to trigger an approval rule based on the availability. If there is any other way of doing this, I’m open to suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Reverse kitting

I’m not sure if I’m terming this correctly, and I’m also not sure if this is addressed in purchasing/receiving or if this is separate and is more of a kit consideration.We are a service company. The scenario is that we purchase an item from a supplier, but sell the items components as separate items in our system. My thought would be to create a “reverse” kit that can be “assembled” to negate the purchased item and increase the component count, which is the opposite of the normal assembly process for non-stock kits.For example; We purchase a repair kit/item from a supplier, which contains a bolt and a bracket. We will receive the item, however we want to stock the components as inventory. We will then use/invoice either the bracket, or the bolt, or both, however those pieces will be invoiced as separate items.Any thoughts on how to make this work in Acumatica 2022r2 (or beyond)?

Ways to use Buildings

HI everyone,I have a customer implementing Acumatica and they have a need to be able to ship from various warehouses on the same order. They need to be able to keep track of inventory though. If we used the buildings in Acumatica, what is the best way to process this?The Building Name would be Main, then each warehouse would be A, B, C?Does anyone have thoughts or ways to work around not being able to combine warehouses on shipments?
