How to receive more than receipt qty

I know that on a Vendor Record, you can increase the Max. receipt %, however you can only increase it to 999.00. I have a client who sends out a qty for example of 6,000 seeds to harvest. If I increase the max receipt to 999, it only allows me to receive 59,940.00. They sometimes receive 180,000 as the qty. Does anyone have a work around without a customization?

Is there a way to manage template item attributes directly and though the item class?

Hi all,I’m a little confused about why template item variants are not configurable at the item level. Take, for example 2 shirts made by different manufacturers. Yes, the sizes will probably be the same (S, M, L), but the colors may be wildly different. So far as I can tell, I’m left with 3 options.Have a single COLOR attribute and add every color for every shirt we encounter. Create an item class for every distinct set of colors. Create an attribute for every distinct set of colors and add all of those attributes to a single SHIRTS item class.I don’t like any of these as it seems like it’ll lead to a lot of clutter on the screens. Are there alternative solutions here? Ideally, I’d be able to decide at the item level which attributes to include with the item but alas...

Need to show Vendor Attributes in the summary area of the Purchase Order form

Vendors have some general purchasing requirements that are indicated in Attributes on the vendor profile:We need to display these values in the summary area on the Purchase Order form for comparison as POs are being finalized. We know doing so on the main summary area would require some customization, but we were trying to figure out if we could tie a UDF to that attribute based on the vendor indicated on the PO.Any thoughts would be appreciated. The hope is we are missing something simple...

Pending approvals not showing in the users Approvals Screen

Hello,This approval works. Only the user specified can approve the sales order directly on the sales order screen. However, the pending approval is not coming up in the Approvals screen for the user. Any thoughts on this?

Inventory Posting classes not being used when creating ISSUE

Hi All,Just to give details about the Problem I am facing here, the process my customer is using is that they receipt inventory and store inventory. They distribute this inventory to different internal warehouses. Each inventory is consumed so an IN ISSUE is raised for this when the goods are consumed.We have different posting classes assigned to each inventory classes which in turn has the COGS account.I have noticed when I raise an issue it uses reason code “ISSUE” GL account code when a GL batch is created. I can create different reason codes for each item class but then user will need to select the right reason code based on each line item and its associated reason code linking account which makes it difficult double entry.Can anyone suggest a better alternative please?can we force the system to use posting class when an ISSUE is raised.Happy to have a discussion and provide more details if necessary.Please see an example below.

Creating a Generic Inquiry to Show Back Order Items

Hello, I’m trying to create a GI that shows when the quantity of an item ordered is more than available for the item. What we currently have set up looks at individual line items and compares the line items to the qty available. However, we have noticed that one stock item will be used for a 12 pack and a 6 pack non stock item, for example. If someone orders both the 12 pack and the 6 pack, those show up as two separate lines items. We just experienced a situation where the whole order total should have been put on Back order, because there wasn’t enough of the single stock item, but it did not show up on this GI because neither line item by itself was more than the qty available. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this condition to look at the whole order, but still specific items? Thanks!

Current costs not being updated from PO receipts

Hello,We have a non-stock item.PO receipts is updating the “last vendor price” as expected.However, when we add this as material on a production order, it does not use this cost. It uses the cost from the price cost tab. Am I missing something. The expectation is that PO receipts will update costs on the non-stock items so when they are placed on the production order they have the proper cost from the PO receipt.Right now it appears that the costs have to be manually entered.Any guidance is appreciated.

Adjustment: IN Error: The multiplier must be equal to 0 or 1.

Good day,We are trying to adjust out inventory that no longer exist or has been used in an old warehouse that is no longer going to be used. We want to reduce to the On Hand to zero and the close/deactivate the warehouse to avoid any new sales/purchases to this warehouse.IN Error: The multiplier must be equal to 0 or 1. Amount total recalculate with Currency override

Hello Community,I have been trying to let the system recalculate the values upon Currency Overriding in the Invoices & Memos (AR301000) form. Here, when I override the value from USD to KHR, the Detail Total doesn’t get calculated. Would like to know if I am missing out here something. Kindly guide me.Thanks in Advance.

Process Orders - Create Shipment (Automation Schedule)

Are we able to set up a Create Shipment automation schedule that creates a shipment based on the sched shipment date/request date earlier than the actual shipment date? Ex.Sched Shipment Date/Request Date is June 20th.We want the shipment to be created on June 18th with a shipment date of June 20th. So when June 20th rolls around, we just have our warehousing team confirm the shipment on its way out. I’d expect this to be easy to set up but seems as though this processing screen only works on the day of shipment? I must be missing something here.

Quantity available will go negative error when completing Physical Inventory

We are currently doing stocktakes in this system for the first time. We have had a couple of counts error in the Physical Inventory Review screen when trying to Complete PI. The error we get is ‘Updating Item ##Inventory ID## in warehouse ##warehouse## quantity available will go negative.’ As an example the book quantity is 3 and we are trying to post a physical quantity of 0. We don’t allow items to go into negative however that is across the whole system. This has happened on about four of five items out of thousands. Any ideas on why? We have checked Inventory summary/allocations etc and nothing has been allocated. It is a rarely used part and has had the initial adjustment in, then a transfer that is pretty much it.

Can you create shipments early on Process Orders

Setting up Process Orders screen with the goal of creating shipments 2 days prior to the request/ship date if the item is available. How do I set up the automation schedule for this scenario:Today is June 15th.SO00001 has a Request Date of June 17th.On June 15th, the shipment should get created automatically with a Shipment Date of June 17th. However, there are also scenarios where the item that is shipping is not available until the shipment date of June 17th. In these cases, the automation should run as soon as the item is available and should retain the shipment date/request date of June 17th. Current set up below: In this set up, it only works in the first example above. Today is June 15th, item is available, and the request date is 2 days from now.However, in the case this item was completed in production on June 17th, I would want the shipment to be created for June 17th. But with this automation schedule, it would create the shipment for June 19th instead. How can I create an au

Data is absent error on Sales Order Line upload

Wondering if anyone else encountered the error “Data is absent” during the Sales Order Line upload function? 2022R2The client provided an excel workbook, and I added an upload tab as the first tab in the workbook for the upload data.If I copy that upload data to an empty new workbook, it will upload, so I know my data is clean.What settings on the excel workbook might be causing this error? I have verified that the sheet and workbook is not protected. What else could it be? Any idea would be appreciated. We have not seen this error before.

Automatic backorder fulfillment....

We have a manufactured part that is on backorder on numerous Sales Orders. I have an “emergency” Sales Order that must go today before we fulfill all previously entered Sales Orders. We have processed the part, item added to inventory but Acumatica has applied the item to the oldest outstanding backorder and is not available to pull on the “emergency” order. Is there any way to circumvent/turn off this function off?

Good Morning all, we are in the beginning stages of Acumatica; my question here is on the process to send out a PO to the supplier/vendor.We are currently having to -create a PO approval process when fully approved we manually print our PO manually send it to supplier/vendor and finally manually maintain confirmations to track order. is there a way like other ERP systems to have Acumatica auto generate and auto send PO to email on file? if anyone can provide literature or details on this.

Zip Code Entry to populate the City, State and Country

Import Scenario Adding Tax

Hey everyone, it’s me again! Still working through a few import scenarios. In my most recent Sales Order load, we are importing data from another source that already calculates the tax. So i have created a tax, tax zone, tax category that is a $0 tax (“MOD”), so that I could then ‘create’ a tax line with the appropriate amount. The import scenario properly handles the order and assigns this tax category to the line and the SO creates a ‘tax line’: The challenge is the “Tax Amount”. It is not populating the Tax Amount XML is attached.Thank you in advance for taking a look!

Import Scenario Put Sales Order on Hold multiple detail rows

Hello Everyone,I am stuck again with the import scenario logic. I have a Sales Order import scenario and I want to put the SO on hold at the end of the import. The SO has multiple lines and I can’t seem to figure out where the ‘release from hold’ needs to go in order to allow the First Row of the SO to be added without hitting an error. I have tried to put it a few difference places. I have attached the XML. In the current scenario the error is “the remove hold button is disabled” when trying to add the first row. I have tried to put a hold on the SO and release it, or place the release in different places, and i’m not getting it to work. Any help is appreciated!

Printing PO Receipt labels from the PO Receipt screen - can this be done?

I have a customer who wants to be able to print out inventory item labels directly from the PO Receipt screen.They have developed a report (label) as a stand-alone screen where they can select the receipt number and it creates a label for each line on the PO receipt with the total line qty. They aren’t concerned at this point with have an individual label for each item received, though I’ve seen a number of suggestions on ways to do that on the community.However, I haven’t seen anything on how to incorporate this on the PO Receipt screen.I have tried doing this myself with an Action in a customization but the parameters don’t allow you to select the inventory item on the detail line to pass to the report (label):Am I missing something?

Shipping integration tool with UPS and acumatica

Has anyone had an issue with acumatica pulling all the info from UPS back into the shipment with the shipping integration tool? I’ve noticed that when I get a shipment that has at least 10 boxes/packages, it won’t pull all the tracking numbers back into acumatica and the shipping cost has to be adjusted as well because its only pulling the cost of the boxes pulled back into the shipment in acumatica.
