Is it possible to change the Lot/Serial class of a stock item if there are open allocated item plans

We would like to implement expiry tracking on some of our product ranges, but we’re currently unable to do so due to the following error.IN Error: Lot/serial class cannot be changed when its tracking method is not compatible with the previous class and the item is in use. We have made sure to check the type of exception and that it is not related to a similar issue, and can confirm that we’re making use of the ‘When Received’ method: We have made sure that there is no stock on hand for the item, however, there are quite a few allocated item plans against the stock item: We have reviewed a similar know issue, but this solution only makes mention to the following:users can change the lot/serial class for an item if the item is allocated by any of the following item plans (and not allocated by another items plans):PO Prepared SO Prepared PO Order SO Booked SO Back Order Purchase for Sales Order Prepared Drop Ship for Sales Order Prepared Drop Ship for Sales Order Purchase for Sales Order

Default Scan and Issue and Scan Materials Screen to default to set qty

Currently when using the scan and issue or scan materials screen, Acumatica defaults to adding 1 unit to the line that you have scanned. In our industry, nearly everything is weighed out and we need our operators to always enter the qty that is on their scale. Is there a way to adjust the settings in Acumatica to default to setting the qty in the scanning modules?

How to Update the Item Cost under FIFO basis costing

Hi, We need to update the Item Cost base on the FIFO cost method. Ex. Item A - 20 Qty with 10$ After add the Laded Cost Value for particular Item Cost, it would be 12$. Have there any possibility to update the Item cost manually? Since user already has completed the landed cost process without adding additional 2$.Now we need to update that additional 2$ to Item. Confirming purcase orders wtih vendors

It’s important for a number of clients to get confirming of price and delivery from the vendor and not allow receipt of goods with confirming the PO. Manually you could keep the PO on hold or add something to the workflow. Does anyone know of a way to “force” the vendor to confirm the PO perhaps some integration to DocuSign or Adobe sign that could communicate back the customer that the vendor has received and confirmed the PO. The vendor of course could offer a different price and/or delivery,

As per the below screenshot in D210 guide-2021 R1/2022 R1The following error is getting triggered whenever the PO Order number is entered.RECEIVE MODE IS IN USECannot create a purchase receipt for the 000077 purchase order. Create a purchase receipt manually.Error: Inserting 'Purchase Receipt Line Split' record raised at least one error. Sales Orders - RM & RC doesnt show Orginal SO Number

Hi All,After we issue an Invoice, there are some cases we have to cancel the Invoice & SO, or adjust the price, we create RM & RC from SO Screen for current. But there are no identification signs on the Original SO that show the Original SO is canceled.It seems we can not know which SO is canceled and which one is processed successfully.Do you have any idea about this?Thank you so much,Yên Chi

Inventory adjustments with multiple lines of the same Inventory ID

We have users who are entering inventory adjustments for the same Inventory ID and the costing is FIFO, and with each line, you must choose a receipt. When there are hundreds of line items, it’s time consuming for users to enter each line individually. I am looking to see if anyone has a better solution or faster way. They can upload the file but if they don’t know the receipt number, they still have to manually search for it. Here is an example:

Stop generating customer statement for the branch not delivering to the customer anymore.

Hello, We have multiple branches, like branch 1 and branch 2. For customer A, both branches served the customer years ago and also issuing invoices separately. However, starting from this year, only branch 2 is serving the customer.But every time, when we prepare customer statement for Customer A. It looks like system also generate 2 statements, 1 is for Branch 1 and the other is for branch 2.Branch 1 statement is empty and unnecessary. Is there a way to excluding branch 1?

Hello,We have a PO with 4 lines for the same stock item.Each line has a different Requested date.When I print the PO, it consolidates this to 1 line on the printed PO.We do not want this, we want to print the 4 lines to show each requested date.

Can someone help me make sense of Acumatica's Inventory Balances?

Here is an example item. I have created a number of purchase orders for this item, and then I received them. You can see there are 3 purchase receipts, all of 1730 LBS of this item. Then we have 1 sales order for 346 LBS of this item. The “Available” quantity of this item is -346, and the Available for Shipping is zero.Can someone please help me understand why that is? On receipt, I assign a Lot/Serial number to these items. Does this somehow segregate this from the main inventory calculation figures? If I have received 1730 * 3, and I have one order for 346, then why is my Available still negative and my Available For Shipping zero?P.S. There was a warehouse attached to these records, but I have redacted it. Just pretend its name is DEFAULTWHSE for the purposes of this discussion. Thanks,Jonathan

Need help with a Generic Inquiry

Hi,I am new to Acumatica and need assistance setting up a Generic Inquiry. I was able to setup a GI but the information looks incomplete.We want to create a GI that shows invoices under Bills and Adjustments for a project that has a pending status for the Project Task and Inventory ID in Bills & Adjustments under the Details tab. Installing Acumatica Demo and Service Unavailable 503 Error

I am trying to create a demo to mess around with so we can be as educated as possible before we start using Acumcatica live. I have downloaded the installer from this site and installed it according to the installation guide and I inserted the “Sales Demo” data to mess with. When I go to pull up the website it first says that it refused the connection and then I get a 503 Error. I open up my IIS manager and that application pool has stopped. I also look in the event viewer for a clue and I get 5 warnings.The first 3 state the following:“A process serving application pool 'Acumatica' suffered a fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation Service. The process id was '24456'. The data field contains the error number.”The second 2 state:“A process serving application pool 'Acumatica' terminated unexpectedly. The process id was '23804'. Hello, Acumatica has its B2B online portal, which customers can place orders directly. However, for a same single portal, it looks like all orders will be assigned to the same branch, which is portal default branch. We are having multiple branches and serving different customers.Is there a way that the orders to assigned to its specific supporting branch?

Replenishment Slowed Down Tremendously by Simply Deleting a Prior Snapshot

Hello, We are on Acumatica 2020 R2 Build 20.215.0025 with some customizations that have been published. The Prepare Replenishment process used to take under a minute to complete. However, by simply deleting an old Snapshot the process now takes ~20 minutes to complete. I can replicate this issue over and over again in a SANDBOX environment (by restoring to a SQL backup prior to removing the Snapshot), but I haven’t found a way to fix the process after the Snapshot has been removed. Has anyone experienced this before? Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated! Alec

Automated Recurring Sales Orders from Customer Attributes

Good morning. I have a client who needs to generate recurring sales orders to fulfill a quarterly magazine subscription. In an attempt at creating the most streamlined account setup workflow, I have proposed this solution:1) Create Customer Template for Magazine Style (4 to chose from)2) Store Subscription details in the Customer Attributes with details Then trigger automated Sales Order Generation based off of Customer Attributes. However, this last part in the process has proven to be above my head. My general concept was to create a GI that would pull customers that match this profile, then generate a sales order from 1 of 4 templates, using 1 variable from the Customer Attribute (qty of magazine line items per order). Here is a screen shot of my attributes setup.Build 19.205.0023 Any ideas on how to make this happen or another better idea that is more simple?

Default Cash Account Setup on Single Entities.

I am new to Acumatica. We have one client who only has one entity setup (no branches/multiple companies) In the past there was no need to setup a default payment method and cash account for each vendor (single entity). However, when I try to hit the Pay button I get an error message pops up (See second screenshot). Also when I go to Prepare Payments not everything is showing up. Note: In A/P preferences the item to require approval for payments is not selected. Let me know if something changed recently or is it now a requirement to have the vendor or vendor class have a Payment Method and Cash Account selection. (This is even though there is no* by the field). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Frances Pantelidakis

Combining shipment lines of the same inventory ID

Hi,Have noticed that when it comes to shipping our manufactured items, the Shipment document will split one shipped item ID into multiple lines, which corresponds to one for each quantity we produced under Move/Labor under Manufacturing.I presume this is because an allocation is created for each Move/Labor document, as opposed to the gross produced quantity as a whole.Needless to say, this can get rather messy when shipping, if for example we manufacture 1 units per day for 60 days. When we ship the 60 units, we end up with a long Shipment document of 60 lines of the identical item with 1 qty each and a puzzled freight carrier.Is there any way of consolidating the Shipment document to present this as one shipment line based solely on the Inventory ID?Thanks in advance!

Is there a setting I need to look at? Or is it that the system wouldn’t allow to ship anything prior to the schedule Shipment date unless I adjust it to the current ship date?Thank you

Move material already issued to a production order to a new location for inspection

Hello,Sometimes it is found that material already issued to a production order is not good.It needs to be moved out of WIP and off of the production order into an inspection warehouse or location.It needs to be inspected at this point to determine if it will be returned to vendor, credit requested, or it can somehow be used.What transaction will allow us to to return this specific material into inventory, not to the original location but to a new inspection warehouse or location?If it is found to be defective, how do we return it to the vendor since the original PO receipt is complete?Thanks!
