| If the destination warehouse differs from the origin warehouse and the warehouses are assigned to different buildings (or the building is not specified in the settings of either of the warehouses), the system displays an error message, and the transfer cannot be performed. Hope this helps.

FYI -
We have run into a lot of customers lately who are looking to optimize replenishment for overstock. Not being able to do a 2 step transfer through the mobile app or to set replenishment settings at a location make it difficult to manage overstock.
How are other people managing overstock locations and replenishment?
