Business Event Triggers based on GI - Notification Email Goes Out - Activity is not being logged - Any ideas on what I may have missed

I have a Business Event that Triggers off a generic Inquiry, once a day at a set time.I want the activity to be logged under the Vendor.If I run the report manually the activity is being logged under the vendor, when the email is generated.When I trigger the business event using the Notifcation Template, an email is generated but the Activity is not logged to the Vendor.Any ideas on what I am missing. Here are the images of the notication template. Notification template Link to Entity and Account filled I believe the activity should be logged based on setting on the Notification Template.The business event and Schedule are working. I am including the business event. This is the Mail Setting in the report. Just in case this information is asked for. Again, when I run the customer report the activity appears under the Vendor.Any help would be appreciated. Matt

Report Designer issue with $TotalAmount not reflecting negative values

Hi All, I ran into an issue with the Order Register report specifically (tested in other reports and they act accordingly).The $TotalAmount in the Footer does not pick up Return orders as negative values.Even after modifying the Line level (Header of Group 1) Section, the values were represented as negative on the line level but are not reflected in the $TotalAmount column. (I created an If statement and multiplied these values by -1:=IIf([SOOrder.OrderType]='RC',[SOOrder.CuryOrderTotal]*-1, [SOOrder.CuryOrderTotal])(just an example of the logic behind it.)The same goes for $TotalLinesAmount and $TotalQTY.Messing around with the footer level and trying to apply the logic from above just led to the same result or completely overstated amounts.The logic works in Generic Inquiries and their Totals Aggregate functions.Am I missing something here?Did somebody encounter a similar issue before?

New developer - rest API API Login Limit issue

I am calling entity/auth/login as restful PI and usually get 202 response. But every third or fourth time or so get 500 - API Login Limit If I walk away for 10 minutes and come back exact same code works for a whileI have made sure I am logging out after each login. I am doing them farily slow by hand so maybe a second each attempt. Any suggestions where I might trty and look to inderstand what I am doijng wrong?Thanks,Keith

Costs against a vehicle

We want to keep track of the vehicles we own and use in servicing our clients. We want to be able to also track any costs to repair or maintain each respective vehicle over time. When creating a vehicle, we can enter purchase information but I do not see anywhere whereby we can track expenses incurred over time for the vehicle. Should we be using some other module to do this? Should we be creating individual internal projects for each vehicle to track costs against them? Any thoughts? Thanks, Joe

Report Designer - Report Footer Variable Totals Issue

Hello, I’ve ran into an issue with a custom report built through the report designer where my totals in the report footer have not been totaling correctly or at all. All of my totals are in variables currently and I’ve got numerous totals to show. I noticed though that if I take the formula from the variable and throw it in just a normal text box, it sums up correctly. This is happening for all variables in my report footer for some reason.For instance, my RptTotEstFee variable here (all created in report footer):With the full value expression:=iif([@InclDeduction]=1, sum([OpenFileReport.OrigEstimate])-sum([OpenFileReport.OrigDiscAmt]),sum([OpenFileReport.OrigEstimate]))I took that same formula and threw it in a TextBox instead of using a variable (tough to show it, but the entire formula is in that text box), also took the CashRcvd variable and did the same thing:Then when running the report, we are shown the first record of the data’s value on the variable and the actual total for th

Custom Inquire error saving filter

I have a custom inquiry screen that everything is working well on except users cannot save a custom filter. They receive this error message after hitting ok on the Filter Setting dialog. KitAssembly REST API - Disassembly

Hello, I cannot get a KitAssembly, Type=Disassembly to create through the REST API. I am able to create a KitAssembly, Type=Disassembly through the Acumatica Kit Assembly user interface but a similar transaction through the REST API fails. I am also able to create a KitAssembly, Type=Production through the REST API.I am making an assumption that a Disassembly type REST API call would be rather similar to the Production type REST API call. I am using the same data structure just changing the Type to Disassembly. There are two errors that I get back that stick out:[LocationID] ‘STERILE’ cannot be found in the system.KitAssembly.ReasonCode. ‘Reason Code’ cannot be empty.Both of the above properties are being set in my API call and they do exist.

latest build Build 22.113.0040 mobile device "set qty" is not working

Hi All, we updated to the latest build and now scan gun when you do scan transactions, the “set qty” is not working any more. So you can only add qty of 1 every time. This is very bad. Anybody else has this issue? know how to fix? Thanks. Alice

Adding tabs within a tab

I’m not sure if it’s possible but I would like to add tabs inside a tab on the Equipment Screen (FS205000). This is an image of our current system for our equipment. Under the Forklift Information tab we have tabs for more specific information: Setup, Motors, Batteries, Engine and Transmission, Service Data, Tires, Mast and Safety. It would be very difficult to add all those fields to one tab. Having all those tabs at the same level as General, Purchase, Components and Warranties, Attributes and Source would also be confusing. Let me know if it is possible to add sub tabs.

I tried to implement a custom checkbox - I added it to the page, but for some reason, after changing the invoice status, this checkbox becomes inactive. Dynamically Change Screen Header Label

I’m trying to modify the screen header label on a screen, specifically the project ID field on the Projects screen, to show the separator dash”-” in between segments to match how the project ID field looks on the screen in the “Project ID” field. Currently, if the Project ID has segmented keys to separate the values (00001293rt-00010), the header value will only display as 00001293rt00010 since that’s the way the field is stored in the database. I am hoping to have the screen header label match what you see in the project ID field below it.I’ve searched multiple topics on this and it seems like the best way to handle would be with javascript, but none of the examples I’ve seen have worked this situation, since it needs to formatted from data on the current record. Some of the screens have access to this “usrCaption” element that can be modified in C# code, but since this screen uses a master page, it’s not easily accessible.I was curious if anyone has done anything similar to this befo

Email Notification template does not pull in the same numbers as appear in the GI that it is based on.

The GI created using the ARPayment table shows the correct amount of the payment. However when there are multiple invoices being paid by that invoice, that amount showing as being the amount of the payment is equal to the last invoice, not the total payment made by the client. This is regardsess of whether or not the formatting equations are used or just the data field.Notification GeneratedThe amount shown should be $25876.26

I need help understanding substitution

Food Distributor working on Acumatica 2022 R1 Build 22.110.0018 The scenario:We have items that we are running low we assign a substitute for them.We have 2 types, mandatory and regular.Mandatory means that if the original item is on a sales order, our current system knows that we should fulfill the order with the sub item without further human intervention. GI: How can I get the Website that belongs to a contact?

I have built a query in which I have multiple associations with the contact tables to get required information. Contact Table is used to find details for a UDF contact field. Owner Contact table is used to get opportunity owner information.Builder contact table is joined with SO Order to get SO contact information.For Builder contact (actual contact on SO), I am able to get Email, Full Name, ContactID_Description but website is blank. When I check the contact, it has website but not coming up on GI. Another thing I noticed was the Phone 1 is also not coming for most of them, only 2-3 records show up whereas it is present. I am trying to use Contact.Website field. Would really appreciate if some one has an answer to this. -Ameya
