What is the difference between default and MANUFACTURING endpoint for OData?

Does anyone know the difference between default and MANUFACTURING endpoint in Acumatica OData?

@cstefanache for OData you do not use manufacturing or default endpoints. Via OData you can directly access either Generic Inquiries or the DAC data in the system.
