Hi @harshitasethia74,

You need to have below configuration to run an Acumatica in local environment.

1)IIS 10.0

2) SQL Server 2019 and above versions

3) Visual studio with Acuminator extension.( Customization specific)

Hope it helps!

That's great to hear you're diving into development with Acumatica ERP! Here are the steps to set up your development environment, beyond just using the configuration wizard:

  1. Install Visual Studio: Make sure you have Visual Studio installed on your machine. You can use the Community Edition if you're just starting out.

  2. Install Acumatica Framework: Download and install the Acumatica Framework. This includes the server software and database1.

  3. Set Up IIS: Ensure that Internet Information Services (IIS) is installed and configured on your machine. Acumatica requires IIS to run1.

  4. Install SQL Server: You'll need a database server. You can use Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL Server2. Make sure you have administrative rights to the database.

  5. Install Acumatica Configuration Wizard: Use the configuration wizard to set up your development environment.

  6. Install Visual Studio Templates: Download and install the Visual Studio templates for Acumatica development.

  7. Prepare Your Solution: Open Visual Studio and create a new project using the Acumatica templates. Configure your solution to connect to your Acumatica instance1.

  8. Run and Test: Start developing and testing your applications. Use the TestSDK to configure and run your tests.

For more detailed instructions, you can refer to the
Acumatica Framework Development Guide and the
Quick-Start Acumatica Developer Guide.

As @darylbowman mentioned, the developer training courses go through all of this and details the applications you need to run a local environment.

Here is the T200 course.
