If I edit a customization project, but don't re-publish, can I get the published project version?

Hi Community,

If I have edited a customization project, but I did not re-publish it back to the server, is there a way to export/ revert back to the original customization project published in a tenant? I made changes I wish to undo that are not in the server because I did not publish it after making changes. When I re-open the current existing project, the changes I don’t want are in the project.

Thanks,
RJ

@nhatnghetinh @Nilkanth Dipak thanks for your responses. I don’t have it saved before I made the changes, so I will make sure in the future to export it before I start working on it.

There is no solution after-the-fact for this unfortunately.

Hi @rkenna,

I believe that if you edit something in the Customization Editor, there won’t be a backup of the previously published version.

To retrieve the previous changes without the latest modifications, you’ll need to import the previously published customization package.

Hope this helps!

Hi @rkenna

As far as I know, the customization project has not saved the previously edited versions. So you need to manually save the versions by clicking "Export" on the Customization Projects screen.

Then if you want to get back the previous Versions, do the following:
On the "Customization Projects" screen > Click "Project Name" > Customization Project Editor > Click “File” > Click “Replace from package”

Click “Choose File” > Select the previously exported Customization Projects Version file > Click “UPLOAD”

Best Regards,

NNT
