Automating the Customer Tax Zone ID field

Anybody have any ideas on how this field (CTaxZoneID) can be populated based on certain conditions on the customer or customer location screen?

I’ve tried managing this through the workflow engine, but the necessary fields from the DefAddress or DefLocationAddress tables are not available when trying to customize AR303000 or AR303020.

Can field updates be based off a GI like in Business Events?

Hi @brendan91  It requires customization, I don’t we can do this from workflow steps.

I should state what exactly I want to do:

I want the CTaxZoneID field to be populated for customers with the customer class of “Retail” and a region/state of “Maine” to be “taxable” and everyone else should be “Non-taxable”

@Naveen Boga After some research, I believe I can get this working with an import scenario using a GI as a data source and a business event trigger. Such a helpful Acumatica tool.
